The confidence and determination he showed all season even though things weren’t going for him tells me he is a gonna be a player. A lot of 19 year olds would have shrunk and hidden, but he kept going and worked his bollocks off every match.

I’d like to see him given a chance under Frank rather than Ange who managed to set up every single forward we have poorly, except for Brennan Johnson, for whom he apparently designed an entire system.

I’m being serious, the only attacker to whose strengths we played was Johnno.

Is there any way we can extend his loan for a season? It would be good to see what Frank can do to push him on without blowing a load of cash and having him on a [however long] contract.

We already paid a 10 mil loan fee for 6 months.
If we loan him again for a full season it could be money wasted like Werner and not even an option to sell the player to recoup some money.

I hope we make a decision to either buy him or move on. We cant build a proper squad with guests / tourists

True. I'm just not sold on him yet. Bit of a weird one. But the club seem to be happy to buy him so hopefully TF unlocks his potential.
