People wondering why Mbuemo would choose United?

Well, in their banter period following Fergie they have won 2 FA Cups, 2 League Cups and a Europa League, plus lost the Europa League final twice, lost 2 FA Cup Finals and 1 League Cup Final. Plus they have new owners and a new project.

We are being used to make Man United cough up more money. Dont do it to yourselves.

Their last CL final was in 2011. Our was in 2019.

So since Fergie left United, we've won the Europa League, plus lost the League Cup Final twice. We have a European Super Cup to play for, and are in the Champions League. We aren't based in a glum region of a glum city, aren't owned by a co-operative clusterfuck, have a manager he likes and has proven to be effective for him, plus a technical director he has worked with before.

and our stadium roof doesn't double up as an extreme kayaking event in a place known to rain all the time

United are the biggest club in the country. Dont be so deluded.

I'll put my money where my mouth is. Mbuemo will sign for them, not us. We are being used by Brentford to start a bidding war.

It does feel that way. In an earlier post someone remarked that Liverpool, City, and Woolrich would be certainties for the first three and everyone else is fighting for one spot. But, I feel like in any year one of the teams that seems a sure bet will stumble some. City wasn't City last season. Liverpool is so consistent I think they will be sure footed, and City just is too deep to fall too years in a row. But this is a sort of make or break season for Woolrich. It feels as if Arteta has pushed his style and project as far as they can go. They shouldn't be awful, but unless they get a catalyst type player in I think they have peaked and will start to regress.

Agree with all that, unless they win something God forbid.

I just can't see Raya, Rice, Saka and Saliba being better in that team.

Last chance saloon.

I wouldn't be so sure.

The only pull at United is the wages.

Any player with half a brain can see their decline.

We have CL and far superior facilities and now a manager who he'll be comfortable with immediately.

All factors you can't ignore.
