Wasn't he playing #6 at Villa?

Not seen him since he left.
Boubacar Kamara and/or Leander Dendoncker generally sat in behind giving him more license to play box-to-box.

True classy 6's are rare, but the very best teams will almost always have one.

Honestly, Bissouma is that player on his day, the idea that he's out of position there is fake news really, he just doesn't play well 2 out of every 3 games.

Use the search feature on here and put in Hercules, Trix or any of the other 'ITK's from SC. They are widely understood to be milking an ever-reducing number of gormless/gullible fans with their 'enter coin to continue' tactics.

They are leaning heavily on the astrology playbook.

Why does it feel like a Dibling+Kalimuendo+random U23 6 summer…We could’ve done that WITHOUT winning the Europa League. These are midtable targets.

I really hope Lange isn’t stupid enough to believe rocking up to the Bernabeu with “Kalimuendo” is going to scare anyone.

We need to be going for an experienced , proven rock for our 6 if we are serious about the PL , and CL especially .
Anything else is just airbrushing how serious we are as a club , kids won't work .

Some gossip from my mate at the rags. Don't be surprised if Spurs bring in Kyle Walker (the old one, not peters) as some experienced legs for our Champions League squad. His agent is desperate to get him back at Spurs and thinks his similar attributes to Porro would make for perfect rotation.

If he joins, I'd expect his hamstrings to explode on his debut.

Your mate may need to get with the times… he’s already agreed a move to Everton!

Not a done deal yet.

MADDs when fit should be first name on team sheeet outside of the defenders. No one else is as creative or has the ability to beat a man. Anyone thinks otherwise haven’t seen our attacking players plod around. In the final our attacking players were awful could keep the ball or make a pass.
As you say when fit... His ankles take a battering each match so it's unlikely we can expect 45+ games from him..
It's a shame but he needs to do something to make his legs stronger so he doesn't keep ending up being injured.
He really adds an extra dimension to our play, and I wish we had more suitable cover for him.
Even if not a direct cover for Madders, we need technical players supremely confident and composed on the ball. I think losing it so easily from attacking positions has cost us dearly both in attacking and getting attacks sprung on us.

Similar attributes? One is fast (or used to be) the other is not. One has great technical ability, the other does not. One can whip in a great cross, the other cannot. One is (or was) a fantastic one on one defender, the other is not.

They are both prone to losing their minds and their man at the back post, so maybe that's what your man is referring to.

I'd guess if he's available for free and would take a modest salary - it wouldn't be the worse idea. Know's the champions league. But at 35 have his legs gone?

We clearly need 2 full backs - Davies and Spence aren't really of the quality required. Udogie is injury prone and Porro can't play 60 games next season.

If Spurs don't have much money to spend in this window - Loans / free transfers may dominate our business.
