Levy is a tight little twat. I’m not sure how random people linking us to random players changes that!
Yeah but do we hate him for trying to buy players that would never come to us...or do we hate him for trying to buy players who are too over valued...or do we hate him for buying players that are not experienced...or do we hate him for buying past it players...or do we hate him for buying unknowns...?

These links allow us to know which road we're going down.

That could buy you two game changers like eze and gyokeres
Well it wouldn't because Eze's release clause is higher (£68m) and Sporting are quoting much higher.

Considering Gyokeres didn't exactly look that amazing when he was last playing over here a couple of seasons ago, and it is not uncommon for players to leave portugal and struggle to adapt to the PL (arguably Nunez and Diaz), that seems like an over confident deduction

I'm not that sure on Semenyo. I still think his end product is very raw compared to Eze and Mbeumo.

But he's a proper winger unlike Tel, Son, Richarlison and Johnson and much better than the current version of Odobert. So he would be a great addition to our squad.

Guess my issue is, if we pay 60m for him then he is probably our marquee signing and can't see us paying more for anyone else in this window. That would feel underwhelming. Semenyo might be better on the ball and at 1v1s then Johnson and Son, but I wouldn't back him to score half as many goals as them so not convinced he quickly becomes a sure starter and a star player. Eze and Mbeumo would!

Gyokeres is an interesting case.

27 years old and was playing in the Championship until he was 24, Brighton gave up on him, and yet the performance levels he's had this season for club and country (including the Champions League) have been totally dominant, in a physically impressive package. A late bloomer but it has been quite a bloom.

Is he a flat track bully or is he Didier Drogba?

Bayern has Harry Kane at the peak of his powers. Spurs stayed above relegation courtesy of Brennaninho.

Don't compare Bayern to Spurs yet.
I wasn't comparing Bayern to Spurs, but pitting ze Germanz' talent ID against our boy Rich's.

But let's play along. Bayern are the 7th richest club in the world on 900 odd mil...we're 9th with 770 mil. Yeah what a difference...really explains how they've got a squad full of world beaters on big wages and we've got a bunch of meh players who finished 17th in the PL with 22 defeats (and who only won the EL cause it was weaker than the Johnstone Pain Trophy). Yeah really explains how their No 9 is Harry Kane and we've gotta make do with their reject.

But yeah we're on the way, Levy said so and he's given us plenty evidence of his mad football ambition.

Or is he just a really expensive Kramarić...

Eze had 16 goal involvements last year and Semenyo 17. Mbeumo obviously had an outstanding season in this regard, but did overperfom his xG quite a bit.

As you say, Semenyo is more of a dribbly winger than a pure forward, but his numbers are still good regardless. Also has an understanding with Solanke.

Son out, Semenyo in but can Semenyo also play RW? Otherwise we will have Semenyo, Odobert, Tel and maybe even Moore who are right foot LWFs

If you watch his goals/assists/chance creation highlights from last season - there’s a least 2 goals from the right and at least 4 games where he created chances from the right side. Although two footed, he looks more dominant on his right foot.
