Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

True, but keeping the SK association with the club will still generate an interest.

Pretty sure Young-pyo wasn't necessarily a big deal, but still people discovered spurs from him playing for us

that was because it was much rarer for SKs to make it to big leagues at that time, now the national team is all over Europes big leagues and small. even a pair at birmingham city

Seems increasingly likely Son will leave.

The guy has been phenomenal for this club, and unlike the fcuking crocodile tears for Postecoglou, this is a departure that will be tinged with genuine and more pertinently justified sadness.

It 's going to happen, and it's the right time.

It really is going to be all change.

If the right offer arrives and all parties are happy then I’m fine with letting him leave, but I still think he can be a big contributor under Frank.

The way he was used under Ange was a disgrace. He shouldn’t be out on the touch line being asked to run up and down, he should be the point of the spear. Getting in behind with early passes that put him in shooting positions. I still think he has a lot to give at the PL level if he is used properly.

I think he can do what Vardy did and keep banging them in throughout his 30s.

100% agreed with that. Was not used in optimal way.

But one thing I add that people seem to ignore - currently Son is captain of the club.
Once the role is given, it will not be taken away.

But we so desperately need a change of captain.
Son has been such a loyal servant to the club. And he has produced so much. And he still has really brilliant finishing on him.
But for the love of God he is not captain material. Absolute non-captain material. Yes- role model professional, but that is not enough.

He is now a spurs legend, would prefer he left this summer rather than stay as a sub and put in sub par performances like he has too often in 2 of past 3 seasons. He deserves his pick of where he goes based on everything he has done for us, doesn't deserve to be a sub for us he deserves better than that

A future ambassador of the club.

It also allows Frank to pick and not take the captaincy away from Son. That would be awful..

Speaks volumes the only club interested is Saudi Arabia Retirement FC.

We'll be lucky to get any large fee out of him. He's completely washed and played a huge part in us finishing 17th.

Funny how he clutches onto the Europa League trophy like he played any part in winning it. We only won that trophy because he didn't start in the final and ruin it like every other Finals he's played in.
Show some respect or get dealt with.

How much of Son's decline the last two years was being in a system that didn't hit teams on the counter? The biggest argument I can make for letting him go is that last season he did seem to get knocked off the ball easier than in the past. That's always been a weakness, but it seemed more pronounced. In a perfect world I think you would keep him this season to see what is left and fill the gap until the young wingers have proven themselves.

Yeah I agree. Though I'd like a co-captain in the starting XI (Romero if he stays). Son would be an impact sub.

Sonny is a toff.
He will ride off into the sunset this summer after helping us win a magnificent trophy and getting the firm a nice lump of dough towards paying for Tel.
