I actually disagree with that, if only because the injury risk to Porro/Udogie would have a much higher negative impact than playing KWP for a few matches here and there.

Let’s say not having backup gives them a 40% chance of injury, that’s a much bigger negative downside than the drop off in level from them to KWP.

Obviously it’s a shit situation and not one any team would want to be in but running Pedro and Destiny into the ground is arguably worse.

But you can sign players good enough to rotate with them in the PL to reduce injury risk. Spence is a good start. I’d play Grat at FB in the CL or PL before KWP

Fek off with this shit man

The state of you

List A is 25 players, at least 2 GK. 8 must be 'locally trained', with no more than 4 'association trained'. As far as I see it, 'association trained' is HG, and 'locally trained' is HG but at the same club.

This is city's list from last Jan

17 x List A regulars, 2 x 'Locally Trained', 4 x 'Association trained'. That is 23/25. Then they had 4 'List B'

Looks like Thomas Frank is after Gustav Isaksen which makes sense since his girlfriend plays for the woman team ;) would be nice to see some danish dynamite again.

Talking of Danes, whatever happened to The Dane The Dane . Top poster he was.
Must be a proud man to see his compatriot on the conveyor belt in the hot seat.
Hope he's ok

The key word for Liverpool is "Had" as Trent and Kelleher are gone and they look like they are open to offers for Elliot. They're basically in the same position we are but working on
signings for their first 11 first before delving into that issue.

If we keep signing more young players do you know what happens? the current young players that are about to be club trained will be shipped out on loan and we will be waiting years again for the ones we've just signed to be CT. The never ending cycle continues.

Or we could sign around 3 players that go directly into the first 11, sell some experienced players that are not up to it and keep the currently club trained players like Devine and maybe even Donley about and trust them to be squad players and see how that goes. We are never going to know how good Devine, Donley, Phillips, Dorrington etc are if we just keep loaning and loaning talent and inevitably selling.

I think we definitely need to show some intent. No question about that, although as you say, all Liverpool have added so far appears to be Wirtz.

It remains to be seen if that improves on Arnold and Robertson. Van Dijk and Salah will go some to be as good as they were last season, so they will need to spend even more. They look like they will.

It's impossible at present to have any idea what Frank sees as needed,or to know what level of backing he will receive,or how much depends on raising money through outgoings.

Normal clarity.

Why not sign Kyle Walker then ? Winning mentality from an all-conquering team. He can bring some leadership and experience to the back line and extremely useful in Europe

Can rotate them in the PL a bit more with a deeper squad - it’s the CL that’s restrictive
