Fuck the compilations here’s a full match clip of how he looked vs the GOAT goal scorer and Duran/Mane

This is why we signed him. He looks brilliant. Really recommend watching this if you’re on the fence about the signing. Kid looks mustard.

If he doesn’t work out, not the end of the world! Good signing - low risk, high upside and low wages so easy to flip.

Now let’s pay up for Eze, Mbeumo, Wharton, or whichever first teamer Frank wants

1. Levy cheapo punt
2. I'll reserve judgement until I see him play
3. Excellent addition to the squad

Which one do I go with...

Guess we’re going to Japan for a preseason in 2026 then. We’ve got to milk at least one Asian country and prepare for life after Son. When I mean life I mean Levy’s commercial and replica kit sales. We sign a Korean and a Japanese youngster to try and replicate what we did with Son all those years ago.

The 'we only bought him for commercial reasons' reeks of undercurrent casual racism, please do better...so tedious reading that crap.

It’s not that I think they’re shite, it’s that they take up significant portions of our transfer funds. So we can’t buy senior players, as we’ve spent it all on them. £5m on this kid is harmless in comparison and doesn’t prevent us from buying anyone.
Playing Devli's advocate, how much have we spent on non-first choice CBs in the last couple of years?

Vuskovic £12m
Danso £21m
Dragusin £23m
Phillips £2m
Takai £5m

Imagine the CB we could have got for £63m?

Not sure it works like that besides Gvardiol and Baston immediately spting to mind, two players who would have most probably been a similar fee if not more who both turned us down.

couldve paid him a fair whack too

shopping in fucking Poundland again are we LEVY

but yeah let's stick from fucking condos up behind the south stand you bald cunt

the day you fall under a bus will be a joyous one

ditto wankstain Lewis. Hopefully he'll cop it while doing chokey and being raped by some monster

and I don't care a fuck what you all think
Blimey and I thought I didn’t like them

I know it doesn't work like that, and in general I am on board with the club's approach, but it is frustrating. Especially if we come up £5-10m short of what it'll take to get a first team upgrade player like Eze or Mbuemo.

It will be interesting to see who gets in the squad alongside Romero, VdV and Danso out of Davies (past his best), Dragusin (injured), Vuskovic (unproven) and Takai (also unproven). And that is not counting Gray as a CB (which coudl turn out to be his bets position). I would imagine it is only a matter of time until we sell Phillips and Dorrington as we've now blocked their route to the first team.

Could this be an indicator that Frank intends to play with either 3 CBs in a 3-5-2, or 4 CBs across a back 4 (which he has mentioned Guardiola has done in a progressive way).

And against a Saudi Arabian team of mercenaries and over the hill journeymen. All we need now is someone to post his fifa or fm stats! 😂😂😂

This the kind of signing people need to STFU moaning or taking the piss about.

Aren’t we continually saying we wish we had scouting departments like Brighton? Get in talented players before they become £60+million pound ones?

Maybe this happens with this guy. Maybe it doesn’t.

But it’s £5m. It ain’t breaking the bank nor is it (or should it) stop us spending elsewhere.

Hopefully he is or becomes the real deal.

End of story, goodbye, the end.

Notice it’s the usual suspects coming out with the whinging or comments they think are ‘funny’.

Waaaa statement signing Waaaa

...and interested to know how you can possibly wake up and stat the day so angry?

Virtually all of replica kit sales goes to Nike. That's what they pay the big bucks for.
One of the greatest myths in football that’s commonly believed. Imagine if that was really the deal; Nike/Adidas/Puma etc paying some of these clubs tens of millions a year, for years at a time, to make their kits, only for the clubs to keep the bulk of the money from those sales? Real did a blinder spreading that narrative after the Beckham deal tbh.
