There you go LeParisien LeParisien the perfect explanation of irony if you really do want to understand why it isn’t sarcasm

Something something... You cunts.

Also; bite-size:

"Verbal irony is a figure of speech that communicates the opposite of what is said, while sarcasm is a form of irony that is directed at a person, with the intent to criticise."

Either way; bollocks to Morrisette... She's shite.

Reddit is mainly Americans. Draw your own conclusions.
The only good thing about football content on Reddit is the fact you can find goal highlights on r/soccer right almost immediately. r/coys is just newer American fans trying copy to older American fans; the vast majority of them have never even been to a pre season game. Going on a stadium tour would be the absolute peak of their time supporting the club.

At this point in time, talking to Americans about football is like talking to a 10 year old, in that they have the same amount of experience watching the game. And I’d also wager that if that 10 year old has played even a single season of Sunday League, he’s played more football than maybe 95% of that country.

I’d argue forums like this are the last place on the internet you can talk to real matchgoing fans; fans whose earliest football memories aren’t Messi lifting the World Cup, and fans who have been to more than just a livestream.

Just saw yours. Its a lazy and clichéd take. Asian player must only be good for selling shirts etc.
Considering someone made the same comment about the same former player a few pages back I'd say that's a lazy and clichéd take on your part :ange-hmm:

Besides, it's not a slight on Asian players really on my behalf, more a track record of our chairman being a penny pinching goblin that's always got an agenda that doesn't always align with the good of the football on the pitch.

Just spoke to a Japanese friend of mine, he's very much excited about Kota coming to Spurs and his future within their (Blue Samurai) national team.
I'm also pleased, but will be more so when we land a ready made 1st 11 player worth the entrance fee.

Oh dear. I seem to be talking to moron. I'll end it there.

Any chance this lad can play left back?

Already preparing myself for us not buying a left back and Udogie doing his ACL in September and being out for the season!

Christian Bale Oooo GIF

I can’t wait to see your next source. Let’s hear from Kanye West on the Holocaust. Or Donald Duck on vaccines.
Irony: A Frenchman correcting an Englishman on the definition of an English word, using an English dictionary.

Compounded irony: an Englishman using an American source to argue that the English definition is incorrect.

Ultimate irony: The debate is taking place in the bastion of intellectual magnificence that is TFC.

Fuck me why are there so many pussies on this forum.

Just shut the fuck up and talk about football. It is so fucking boring coming on here and seeing every single fucking thread taken over by some middle aged balding dickheads cunting off with each other about shit that does not matter.

Grow the fuck up.

We'd better start working on what we're going to call him...
No Kotex references please
