I see Sunderland have signed a half decent left back today.
Does this mean Cirkin is incoming with Walker Peters?

It's the club trained chestnut I understand. It's really is a pitiful situation that we are looking at players deemed not good enough a couple of seasons ago, to bring back to the club in order to pad the squad out.
LoCelso and Sanchez next no doubt.
We have a handful on here who actually don't want us to spend serious money buying better players,. It's bizarre.ENIC have turned a generation of our fans into bean counters more interested in spreadsheets than football
Makes sense....FFP/PSR was tailored to allow all the usual suspects to maintain their financial superiority and make it more difficult for newcomers to catch up regardless of their newfound wealthy owners. Never mind that the big hitters had blatantly broke the spending regs for years leading up to the so called constraints being implemented.I've read abramovic was one of the original instigators of ffp..
Where will you find someone with those measurements?
I know exactly what you mean but;We have a handful on here who actually don't want us to spend serious money buying better players,. It's bizarre.
Growing up I and every Spurs fan I knew got a rush of excitement when we signed the likes of Gazza, Lineker, Klinsmann, Ginola etc....Ardiles and Villa before that.
It's like they feel more comfortable looking up to our biggest rivals rather than competing with them
I know exactly what you mean but;
I have to say that apart from the Bournemouth left back that Liverpool have signed the fees asked for players like Eze and Cunha represent a huge risk.
A lot of players seem to flake out once they are awarded big contracts in the modern era.
It's a real problem in modern football; not just Spurs.
I'm really not that bothered if we miss out on any of the players we have been linked with.
Does Eze really improve our starting 11?
News flash for you, Danso and Tel were both loans. Danso was made permanent after the season concluded. Tel followed a few days later.
Moving abroad will improve them, and eventually the England team will reap the reward.Tammy Abraham has gone to Besiktas.
Amazing how willing the Brits are to play in Europe these days.
Even 2 members of the U21 squad are at Toulouse and Genoa. Fair play.
a lot of fans try to big up some of the boys just for the sake of it but would be on here laughing if our rivals had bought the same player for the fees we paid.Couldn’t agree more. Some Spurs fans will never cease to amaze me at their ability to delude themselves into thinking we can’t improve on a player.
City, Woolwich, Liverpool, Chelsea, Newcastle, even Villa and United wouldn’t have him anywhere near their main striker.
So why should we? These are the clubs we want to compete with right? Our chairman said so. “We want to win the Premier League. We want to win the Champions League.”
Solanke is a great worker and seems a top bloke, but when you pay 65 million for a striker I’m sorry you need more than that.
I mean Bournemouth replaced him with Evanilson, who cost half the price, scored more goals and came from, yep, the Portuguese League, yet people were slating me yesterday for saying Viktor Gyokeres would be an upgrade on Solanke.![]()

Except abrahams is not very goodMoving abroad will improve them, and eventually the England team will reap the reward.
