Whilst Levy hides behind rules, Chelsea, City, even United and Liverpool all just work out how to get round them.
Always has been the way, always will be the way.
This is the most irritating thing if your going to tell us that we have to stay in the rules, then make sure everyone else has to obey the same rules. Instead he welcomes spending by other clubs with a shrug. Levy just don't give a shit and will use any excuse for why we cannot compete.

I think that today's the day we are supposed to start buying players.

Priority position should be DM. This should be our big signing and look forward to seeing all the new links. Wharton, Stiller, Baleba, Agoume or Reitz are all good young players. We'll probably end up taking a punt on Hayden Hackney or Elliot Anderson.

There is no reason the biblically wealthy ENIC group couldn't do exactly what City and Chelsea do and funnel external funds into THFC via made up business deals. Just buy AIA and then up the shirt sponsorship deal, buy a foreign team and then use that team to overpay for our deadwood, buy a made up company and supplement players wages with fake sponsorship. All those shenanigans.

But we won't, because our owners don't want to do that. They want everyone else to be reigned in but can probably see that ain't happening.

I don't hate Kudus, he's extremely good at the dribble bit. Not convinced by the actual productivity bit, and as I said, Semenyo is really good without the ball.

That chart tells me something really important in terms of last season's front line; He can dribble and he can pass.

Our system was fragile last year but our forwards being unable to dribble and pass without giving the ball away in the most vulnerable phase of the game for our system was a complete killer.

Kudus is pretty much exactly what we need against the Fulhams, Newcastles and ironically Brentfords that will sit off because we can't dribble 1v1, then look to pick us off when our forwards give the ball away

Throw in £80m plus CL and decent wages he will be agitating for a move

So Wham who need to sell offer us a player they do not want and the little bald one is all over the deal

He doesn't see that Bowen is a game changer in term of goals/assist and would transform our front line.He is not a football man ,all he see is price/wages quantity over quality

So Kudus it is ...doesn't matter he is a average inferior player but should be enough to placate a restless fan base that will lap up any signings

These people just never learn

I'd rather we just put the £70m on the table today and break our wage structure for a transformative player like Eze rather than take a gamble on Kudos who wen't missing for an entire season.

But this is the way of it at Spurs, people will try and gaslight you into believing Kudus is Prime rib with the right coaching.
Or that Eze isn't a good fit for Spurs for whatever bullshit reason.
Or he won't come to Spurs despite the fact that we haven't even tested the waters with an actual bid... Our fan base just gives us because Woolwich are interested.
The mentality of half our fan base is mid table so is it any wonder Levy gets away with what he gets away with?

When Frank doesn't turn out to be a miracle worker with the mid level players and kids he has been given he is gone after 18 months and the cycle begins anew.

If we don't buy top players we aren't going to progress. People like to overcomplicate football but fundamentally buying top drawer players and paying them what they are worth is how you win things. It's not difficult.

Buying top players is not a panacea. United have spent loads on them and are still a shambles. Buying the right players to fit together into a cogent team is far more important.

I’ve no idea if Kudus is the right player. Bowen would be a great signing too, but a guy who’s captain and married to Danny Dyer’s daughter is not gonna agitate for a move to us in our current state where we’re not even a guaranteed top 5 finisher.

I won't lie, I'm struggling with the whole Eze is a step above Kudus narrative when Eze hasn't even played CL football whilst Kudus has for THREE SEASONS...with Ajax and Eze hasn't even played in that comp once?

This is what he says which can be pulled apart pretty easily and seems to cover a lot of bases, it could even be argued it’s being leaked to get us to pony up if we want to read it that way. If the scum don’t want to pay the fee and if palace do get to play in the EL then I’m not 100% certain he leaves there, especially is Guehi goes too.

“One situation to keep an eye on is Woolwich and Eberechi Eze. The 27-year-old is among the options being considered as Mikel Arteta’s side seek a versatile attacker. No contact has yet been made with Crystal Palace, but serious consideration is being given to the idea at the Emirates. No other clubs have the same level of interest at the moment and he is not a player Tottenham Hotspur have been working to bring in. The England forward has a release clause in his contract, but Woolwich would be looking to do a deal at a lower price. It is unclear whether a sale would need to happen first to facilitate a move, but this would be separate to their pursuit of a striker and left winger. ”

Once again; all the last month's chatter sounds like it's been a nothing burger from both clubs.... Goons not even prepared to meet the price. Spurs just being a vague long term interest.

These hacks have to write something otherwise they don't get paid.

Kudus is younger and tbh probably a better player at 24 than Eze was.

Right now Eze is a better decision maker and more complete, Kudus is more explosive and maybe has a higher ceiling.
