Let’s see but evidence so far would suggest otherwise.

They might have a chance if we get two more footballers into the midfieldThat’s really great choice. So many havecsaidvifcwecstart the season with a front 3 of tel Solanke and Johnson we are fucked. Even though that lot cost nearly £150M yet we still look poor in those positions. All 3 Ange signings btw. He truly fucked us with those signings and money spent.
Wouldn’t rule it out, but loss at CBRomero to play as DM!
With no links to a DM at this stage it's possible Frank will move Romero to play there. Personally I think he'd be a gun there, great tackler, good in the air, good passer.
Definite option IMO
How tuchel thought he deserved to get in England based on a few games for Villa is beyond me.Grealish for a season loan is a very good shout IMO
don't want Rashford. No way. Horrendous. Good player 2x a season.
Well that would be dumb especially when we bought SolankeIt could be that Postecoglou had told him to keep playing low crosses? Surely there has to be an alternative reason.
I would suspect that the club values of bottom-half of the Bundesliga are on par with the bigger Championship clubs.Does this kind of graph take into account the strength of opposition?
I was about to make the same point. His oppo look very slow in that vid.Does this kind of graph take into account the strength of opposition?
May be not but to dismiss his quality compared to what we have is what I’m having a go about.
Think he missed some great chances in games last season. When through one on one he doesn’t instill you with confidence his going to put it away.Me neither. If you're paying 65m for a striker, they have to score goals. All well and good that he's the "best pressing forward in Europe", but he never looks like scoring.
Both Solanke and Richarlison were over 60m. They need to score more goals.
Solanke's role is to press a lot and act as a focal point - and the plan was to share the goals which worked. That's why Spurs were amongst the highest goal scorers last season.
The real problem for Solanke was (i) not getting regular rest and rotation whilst pressing a lot to help team so he's often tired hence will not be prolific (2) Not getting enough chances made for him, we didn't have enough creativity........ Solve the creativity problem and not have Solanke pressing enough and he'll score more goals.
Richarlison's problem was mainly not being fit enough - BUT he's never been a high scorer. His 'talent' is being a busy pest - that's the skill Conte bought him for. If he's fit enough to play more he'll probably score more goals but he'll never be a high scorer
BTW, having a £60m price tag has never guaranteed a high number of goals being scored.
It is beautiful. Timely reference with the thought of Jota’s kids.To each their own Bruv.
I can appreciate the artistry of the Studio Ghibli animation, some of it is quite stunning, but the pace, or lack thereof, of the stories just had me dozing off or completely losing interest.
One studio that my daughter got me interested in is Cartoon Saloon, from Ireland. If the Gibli artistry is your thing, check out the films from CS, like Song of the Sea, Wolfwalkers or The Secret of Kells. The artwork in them is breathtaking.
My daughter has been heavily influenced by CS. If you're interested, you can see her graduation animation short on YouTube, it's called "Guardian" and features a horse. I cried like a baby when I first watched it, it's absolutely beautiful.
I wish people would stop going on as though they know or knew the ins and outs of players' roles
We need real honesty
Solanke needs to put the ball over the line more than he does, and I would put a pound to a penny (P'Tang Yang Kepperbang), for those who are old enough that Richarlison would score more goals than Solanke if he was on the pitch an equivalent amount of time.
I hope Solanke can outscore Johnson in all competitions next season.
Then we will have a player who scores a lot of goals. Some of you will get what Imean.
solanke is so much more than just a goal scorer while Brennan's best asset is his goals.I wish people would stop going on as though they know or knew the ins and outs of players' roles

Solanke starts for Liverpool Chelsea and WoolwichFrank is going to need to be a miracle worker to get us in the top six next season trying to turn a fair few sow's ears (Solanke, Kulusevski, Tel, Odobert, Johnson, Maddison) into silk purses, whilst developing our youngsters, the likes of Gray, Moore, Bergvall etc.
Don't get me wrong, all fairly good players but are they good enough? Let me put it another way.... How many of the bracketed players would get into the starting 11 of City, Liverpool, Chelsea, Woolwich, Newcastle? Not many, if any is my answer.
It saddens me to say, but we currently have a mid-table starting 11 imo.
That's a good one.Sources in Madrid have mooted a shock swap deal between Atleti and Spurs for Christian Romero and Julian Alvarez
