That would though affect the value of the club though. If we continue to perform poorly that’s hundred of millions less value and the whole ENIC model is asset growth not to mention lower sponsorship for being crap. I doubt he is here to cut cost, he would break the club if he tried to cut costs on a club that is run as low cost.

Or maybe Lewis Family is not happy with Levy faffing around with the Qatari takeover and is trying to get more control / insight into the running of the club.

Worth noting that Joe Lewis doesn’t own the 70% interest he had in ENIC. He put it in a trust with his kids as beneficiaries. Not sure who the trustees are of this family trust but wouldn’t be surprised if Charrington isn’t one. Trusts are run (or supposed to be run) independently of emotion.

Not really, though. The club’s managed to grow its social media reach effectively without success on the pitch. The Dallas Cowboys are the biggest sports brand in the world and haven’t seen success since the 90s.

Until Lewis dies he’s the final word on it all. This is some Succession type shit. Whether he’s the owner on paper of not, he’s the patriarch and boss.

The more I think about the less I like the idea that Levy gave his brother-in-law a job as 'player liaison officer' .

I looked at a summery of the job and part of it is;

''Being trusted by all parties, often with sensitive topics to take stress away from players, player liaison requires maintaining absolute confidentiality.''

The Chairman's brother-in-law that he gave the job to because he's married to the bloke's sister. Under that circumstance I'd be worried about the confidentiality element if I were a player.

I was the same, and then I finally stopped. At first I was worried that Id made a terrible mistake but I'm glad i did!
Of course other people will take the seat up if you don't but that's besides the point, it's principle!

Once it finally sank in that the fans of this club want to win far far more than the people that are in charge of the club things became much easier. I took a big big step back and whilst I'm still passionate and watch most games I will not spend a penny on them until things change.
We're so tinpot, our standing in world football diminishing, struggling to sign top calibre players, despite having all the infrastructure to be a super power.

Tis true mate and rebrov beat me to it due to my distraction over a pint of bangla and house special biriyani but yes Levy has publicly stated in past that they have met and open to potential investors with the rider that any agreement must be beneficial to all parties .
