Cuti Romero "One day I'd like to play in Spain"

Handy for the club if they wanted to cash in on our EL winning captain that a section of the fans had turned on him

He'd need to take that wage drop regardless of who he goes to. We won't pay that, Villa can't afford to pay that, nor can the majority of clubs in the PL.

Woolwich could but it's highly unlikely they'd bother. Chelsea wouldn't, as he's probably too old for them, so it only really leaves Utd as being stupid enough to maintain his current wage.

Grealish to Utd in 5... 4... 3...
If Grealish wants to stay in the PL he will happily take a big pay cut, still going to be on big dough.
He'd be a good signing for us IMO, improves the team and is better than all our other wingers. Might be too old for us to sign long term nowadays, a year long loan would be great though.

352 perhaps; but we haven't got dominant enough MFers to play only 2 in the middle.

Danso, VDV, Esteve + Vusko isn't enough if we're playing 3CBs.
I don’t think we’ll be playing 3 at the back all the time- and Davies or Takai/Vusko could all be kept to fill it out.

5-2 would be very compact and we’d prob play with Madd LW and Kulu RW, deep. Either way I don’t see it as functionally much different than 3-4 except in depth of def line.

3-5-2 is a big maybe as I’m not sure we have enough in attack to make it work, but def u could be right Frank will use it.

It’s getting so hard to keep track of all these transfers.

I can’t believe the club are doing all of their business in time for pre season so that the squad have the best possible chance of fully understanding the manager’s style of play, being match fit and developing strong cohesion with their teammates.

OH WAIT, WHAT A FUCKING SURPRISE.

He plays for Argentina regardless of what he does for us.

Partly because he's a different player at international level. Pretty much the same as any argentine who has played for us in recent years

Because he's World class.

FFS

LoCelso, Gazzaniga, Foyth, Fazio, Lamela, Tarrico, Ardiles and Villa all played well for Spurs.

I saw Ardiles and Villa's debut and final games for us, and none wore an Argentina shirt with more pride than them.

You know nothing, nothing about South American football, and when you do you will see why their International call up's are more important.

Cap's are not thrown about like confetti in England, but South American players, Argentina and Brazil especially they are earned, cherished and the players worshipped for it.

Bottom line is in todays Spurs team, Romero is as important a player to our future as Ardiles was during our golden years under Burkinshaw.

Talk about stat padding. Half of those are automatic.

We've loaned out a bum.
We've taken another unknown punt at 5m.

If you won't accept the facts then there is no helping you mate. We have signed players that were on loan, just like Porro, Kulu and Bentancur were before we signed them.

Toddle off to the Burnley forum, I think they have now signed seven or eight, you can sod off to them and get drunk on that.

When you aren’t in the CL, it’s difficult to compete with the other big clubs for players
