He's definitely good, but I don't know if he's great, and he was a perfect fit for Brentford's more smash-and-grab counterattacking tactics that we're hoping Frank is transitioning away from with greater resources at his disposal.

Spreading six million across other signings ?I don't know the answer to this, so I'm not asking to make a point, but if you had a choice between getting Kudus and spreading six million across other signings, which would you do?
Got a young squad so not a bad thing , definitely if we are selling RichieLooks like the third cheap option then as you say near 30 already
More likely Richie is off hopefullyAs well as Kudus?
They are very different players. If it’s Kudus or Wissa then scattergun doesn’t do it justice
If it’s Wissa as well as Kudus then Richy is gone and it makes sense.
Would likely fuck up UTD getting Mbeumo as well
And given his age he may be fine with being a rotation option given that this may be his last big contract.Wissa has played 137 premier League games in last 4 seasons so he's only missed 15 games in 4 years. That level of consistency shouldn't be dismissed. As a rotation option I would be all over this
The mystery of Richy and Son's immediate future, plus not knowing the formation or tactics Frank is going to prefer, really makes it hard to parse what our plan is.

Wonder if it’s been put out to pressure Man Utd to get Mbeumo done
It would work as sort of double fuckery, pressure Utd about Mbuemo and pressure West Ham about Kudus.Wonder if it’s been put out to pressure Man Utd to get Mbeumo done
His goalscoring is world class, other parts of his game are far below mid. EnigmaJohnson has scored a goal every three games last season for us in the PL last season, and eighteen in fifty one since joining us, plus five in thirteen in the EL.
Overall since joining us he has had nineteen assists in just over a hundred games.
Can he improve well, yes, and I think Frank will do that.
As for him being " mid-shit" well only an idiot would suggest that.
We don't have the money to do that though given the amount of work the squad needs. Wissa would.be a very good rotation option for striker who can also play on wing. He would replace Richy (hopefully). We don't have the cash to sign a striker who is better than Solanke so we need someone who can cover for him & other positions and Wissa would fit that bill.I don’t hate Wissa but a team that is this far away from winning the PL and CL shouldn’t be targeting many or any rotation options.
Every player we sign should be pushing the starting 11 now or in the near future Imo

Upgrade in other positions like CM which is badly calling for it and then next season we can address other positions. We can't do it all this year.
