Each club is entitled to register an unlimited number of players on List B during the season. The list must be submitted by no later than 24.00 CET on the day before the match in question.

31.12
A player may be registered on List B if he is born on or after 1 January 2004 and has, since his 15th birthday, been eligible to play for the club concerned for any uninterrupted period of two years, or a total of three consecutive years with a maximum of one loan period to a club from the same association for a period not longer than one year. Players aged 16 may be registered on List B if they have been registered with the participating club for the previous two years without interruption.

From the current players listed in the OS senior squad:
Devine and Scarlett are List B.
Lankshear, Moore, Ajayi and Olusesi from the academy featured in a few EL games.
All these players were named in 1st team squads last season:
Defenders: Dorrington, Cassanova, King, Hardy.
Midfielders; Hall, Kyerematen and Williams-Barnett.
Edit:
Returning loanees Donley and Abbott could be considered for List B.
Craig (HG) is now 21, as is Keeley (NHG).

We can buy KWP and Madueke and get a bigger squad (2 additional 'club trained'). Note that U21 academy prospects who have been with us for 3 years are on the unliimited B-list (Moore, Donley, Ajayi, etc.)

(Not sure if Phillips can go on U 21s List B).
No problem shifting 8. Loads of them won’t be here. Tel isn’t even our player.

What 8 would you dump?

The 8 to exclude are :
Veliz, Solomon, Gil (all sold),
Yang loan out
Tel is not ours - if we buy, someone else is sold
Vuskovic wil not be in CL squad unless he shows he is one of Spurs 4 best CB's at Spurs, and if he does probably Dragusin is moved on, if he's not food enough he might be squeezed into PL squad rather than being loan out.
Philips - I suspect loaned out as not quite at PL standard ?
Davies - not goof enough for CL but goes into PL squad (unless sold)

The Spurs squad at 14 June 2025

1 Players left since end of 2024/25 season - Forster, Whiteman, Regulon, Werner (all contracts/loans expire in June 2025).
2 Players in - Tel, Davies (1 yr contract extension )
3 Players on loan last season who might return not included
4. In summary, there are 2 players too many to fit into CL squad but would fit into squad for PL and domestic cups.

Age at 1 September 2025 (in brackets)

GK's (3) - Vicario (28), Kinsky (22), Austin (26),
CB's (5) - Romero (27), Van de Ven (24), Dragusin (23) , Danso (25), Davies (32)
FB's (3) - Porro (25), Udogie (22), Spence (25),
CM's (5) - Bissouma (28), Bentancur (27), Sarr (22), Bergvall (19), Gray (19),
AM's (2) - Maddison (28), Kulusevski (25)
FWDS (8) - Solanke (27), Johnson (24), Son (33), Richarlison (28), Odobert (20),
Moore (18), Scarlett (21), Tel (20)

Total - 26 man squad

Analysis By UEFA Classification (
Note we can have 17 Overseas trained players plus 4 Association trained (so 21 in total) plus 4 Club trained and unlimited List B players. Note in 2026/27 Gray and Bergvall become List B players which eases situation)

Club trained (1) : Austin
Association Trained (6) Spence, Maddison, Johnson, Solanke, Gray, Davies
Overseas Trained (17) Vicario, Porro, Udogie, Romero, Van de Ven, Dragusin, Danso, Bissouma, Bentancur, Sarr, Kulusevski, Son, Richarlison, Kinsky, Bergvall, Odobert, Tel
List B (u21’s ) (2) Scarlett, Moore

Conclusion - 2 players need to be excluded from CL Squad to comply with rules

Squad under PL Rules
Home Grown ( 7 )
Austin, Spence, Maddison, Johnson, Solanke, Davies, Danso
Overseas Trained (13) Vicario, Porro, Udogie, Romero, Van de Ven, Dragusin, Bissouma, Bentancur, Sarr, Kulusevski, Son, Richarlison, Kinsky,
U21’s (6) Scarlett, Moore, Gray, Bergvall, Odobert, Tel

Conclusion - 20 players in combined HG and overseas categories, so no issues on squad size, as many players can be registered as u21's.

Not included above are
1) List B/U21 players who do not take up a squad place (eg Donley, Devine) or Vuskovich (overseas in CL, u21 in PL).
2) Players likely to be sold - Solomon, Gil and Veliz

I don't know tbh, Mowbray spoke highly of him that's all I know but if we send him out on loan again he'll have spent 3 years of his 5 year contract on loan. At some point we're going to have to either include him or sell.

I think our issue is that Phillips is a very good option at CB who has proved himself on Championship loans to Plymouth and Stoke at both clubs quickly becoming their first choice CB - Mowbray managed him when he was just breaking through into Blackburn in Championship, only made 8 appearances in 22/23 in Championship and a few domestic cup games totalling about 700 mins (8 games equivalent), so his thoughts are a bit dated. A more up to date assessment is Stoke fans thought he was head and shoulders above any other defender they had.

He has captained E u19's, so well regarded at that time by FA coaches.

However Vuskovic who joins us on 1 July has done amazingly well on loan playing in Belgium top league (generally rated more highly than Championship) following excellent reviews playing on loan in Poland, Just promoted into full Croatia squad - on bench with Modric et al.

Both players seem to play as a CB only - I can't trace any record of either playing full back for example, so might be tricky for Frank to introduce both into Spurs first team in same season ?.

Neither would qualify as List B players this season, Phillips would qualify as a Club trained player in 2026/27 I think (by which time I'd hope Donley and Devine will be CT and Gray/Bergvall List B then and CT following season, so the lack of CT players may go away in next couple of seasons with luck).

If either player could cover a FB, position it might be possible to have both in squad with some playing time.

Frank's dilemma is going to be if Vuskovic is as good as his reputation suggests and if Frank does not see his 18 age an issue (he's already 6' 4'' physically well built) then Franks might need to squeeze one of them into PL squad this coming season (doubt if either can be squeezed into CL squad ?) and other player in 2027/28 squad.

So could be an interesting preseason to see how both players look

Up to date Contract end Position after Tel signing.

Def need Tel, would love to see more of Vuskovic and Yang as back ups. Frank does wonders with young talent.

The more difficult question now is which 4 players would you exclude from CL squad in the Overseas and Association Trained categories, highlighted in blue below :

GK's (3) - Vicario (28), Kinsky (22), Austin (26),
CB's (5) - Romero (27), Van de Ven (24), Dragusin (23) , Danso (25), Takai (20)

Note - Vuskovic and Phillips are not included in CL squad atm, as both would take up a squad place.

Need to have a minimum of 4 Association trained in CL squad .

With different rules in PL squad, all the players can be included !

Forward line starting to look a lot stronger with more options !

RW - Johnson, Kudus, Moore, Yang

CF - Solanke ) .........................Scarlett
.....................) Richarlison, Tel
LW - Son .....) ....................... Odobert, Moore
