It's bollocks.
The end of the day we met the terms of the contract (release clause), this won't go to arbitration, court or through any other legal process.
Forest seeing the player develop, should have offered him a new contract but the fat kebab eating Chairman was too busy chasing Nuno around he pitch post games.
Don't you remember how gutted we were for so many years that we only had a gentleman's agreement with Kane rather than a stipulated release clause in his contract you idiot???I can say for a selling club all else being equal an option in a contract is better than an obligation. I dont need to know all the details of every contract.

Good post.
I'm not sure how a buy-out clause can ever remain secret. Once met however, I am unsure of the process that should be followed, or if it exclusive to the initial bidder.
Joy Hunk I think
Or maybe Dickie Darlingson
Which do you prefer ?

MGW can definitely play in the MF 2. Maybe even as the 6.
I always thought that Gibbs White could be tried as a possible 6, I don't know if his defensive positioning and awareness is strong enough though.
Pass the mind bleach!Give that fat Greek cunt some tzatziki for lube and tell him to go and pull his tiny todger and sell us MGW

Marinakis took back full control of his shares on 6th June.Marinakis supposedly put his shareholding in Forest in a blind trust in case Forest and Olympiakos both qualified for the CL. This is supposed to mean he has no influence on Forest.
The MGW saga has demonstrated this blind trust is a big pile of horsepoop. UEFA should investigate this even though the conflict between Forest and Olympiakos never eventuated. Marinakis mis-representations to UEFA of managing the conflict is clearly an act of bad faith.
Makes sense, but in the legal realm, where this is being played out, it's not necessarily true. It’s not rocket science. Someone loses their temper and you don’t do anything to further antagonise the situation while they’re upset. Wait for them to calm down and deal with it more rationally. Weekend is the perfect time to cool off.
A couple of you asked a similar question to me when I popped on here the other day. Yes he could play in a midfield two - he is much better at attacking than defending, but still does a good job doing his defensive duties, winning the ball back and transitioning defence to attack. He is a workhorse and an aggressive player, so naturally does well in the middle of the field.I always thought that Gibbs White could be tried as a possible 6, I don't know if his defensive positioning and awareness is strong enough though.
Sauce?Someone else can bid, but it seems he's already signed a contract with us.
It's just the player registration that needs to be finalised, which I suppose Forest can refuse to process - but that's likely to get them in shit rather than us.
Thanks. That makes sense then.
You said Maddison was anonymous in the finalThat's quite insulting.
Maddison was injured, so we played a defensive midfield. Gibbs-White gives us options, that we desperately need.
To write what you did is a bit daft
It was called irony.

Having read all the rumours and arguments I haven’t a clue how this is going to pan out. My question is why does it always seem to be us involved in these situations? The delay will complicate future dealings as no one can be sure of the outcome. Hope the PL are quick and decisive.
