I just hope Frank's no.1 priority was set piece defense.

I think Frank brought with him the set-piece coach he had at Brentford?
Sound like sour grapes to me!Was chatting to my cousin over the weekend. He's a lifelong Brentford season ticket holder for the last 30 years and never misses a game, home or away.
He's pretty surprised Spurs have gone for Frank and all the backroom staff. Says Brentford have had never ending injuries since he was appointed and he's mostly a yes man to Brentford's owner (who makes the majority of footballing decisions). Whilst he is well liked by the Brentford fans to keeping them in the Prem, its not clear if he can really take a club to the next level.
I do find it odd, that we have appointed a coach with zero experience in European competition and, very limited coaching experience and, a lower win % than Ange at Spurs. (41% vs 46%).
Clearly Spurs ambition, with 800k spent on players in the last few years - is to WIN the league, and WIN the champions league. Not to finish 6th.
Feels almost inevitable that Levy is preparing to throw bags of cash the way of Klopp by October.
yawnWill be interesting to see if Frank adapts his approach at Spurs.
At Brentford, they topped the stats for long passes, time spent in the defensive 3rd, and outside of the relegated teams, had the lowest number of touches in the opposition 3rd. It was very much a sit back and chase long balls system. Brentford also had the 2nd lowest number of players dispossessed - suggesting a very conservative, risk-free approach.
The long ball approached worked with Toney & Wissa who could hold the ball up, and with Schade who could win headers. But I am not sure if Spurs have the players for this outside of Richy. Kudus for instance only won 20% of his headers last season (just 11 headers won all season) - which puts him in the top 5 worst headers of the ball in the league (Eze is number 1! haha).

Eh.. What did the last manager's style do BIG TIME?He has to, there's no point in replacing a manager who was deemed to be too inflexible to change a style that wasn't producing results- until it did BIGTIME- with another infexible manager.
Georgson worked briefly alongside Frank at Brentford before moving to the gooners. He's also been set-piece coach at Southampton and most recently Man United.I think Frank brought with him the set-piece coach he had at Brentford?
I do find it odd that there are still people here who don't have you on ignoreI do find it odd, that we have appointed a coach with zero experience

Someone will be on trouble for taking this sneaky pic and distributing it
Must have been Maddison![]()

Gave us a nice PL win stat of 40.8pc

Well he does have better PL win rate than Frank whose PL win rate is apparently 35.53%. but with a squad that cost vastly less. According to The Mail
A demented monkey could teach our players to defend set-pieces, especially corners better than they have been the last few years.I think Frank brought with him the set-piece coach he had at Brentford?
