They cant really hope for a better offer, in financial terms anyway, no club is going to pay more than the release clause, it's pure pettiness from the owner now.
MGW has to kick up a fuss if this is to start moving.
Well no this ain’t the case. In any used marketplace goods are worth what the buyer is willing to pay. If someone else really wants him they will pay more because the release clause is considered below his actual value.
But someone needs to actually want him and there doesn’t appear to be any noise around anyone else. Unless he’s on teams lists as second choice and a deal becomes possible because something else falls through.
So for now, Forest delay. Make a lot of noise and hope a buyer comes knocking.
