How did we miss Wharton at Blackburn, when we were there watching Phillips every week ??
the scouts should be executed for that one. embarrassing stuff, clearly dont have a clue what they are watching. How did we miss Wharton at Blackburn, when we were there watching Phillips every week ??
Price of transfers, like houses and anything else, are always going up, as well. The best time to buy is always yesterday. The 2nd best time to buy is today.30 mil for a three or four year contract, or 80 for a twenty one year old good for a decade or more?
Wharton at 80mil much better value.
Oh you think it won't happen colour me shocked. let's see eh.191 pages. 3,810 posts....for a player who'll probably never wear a Spurs jersey in his career
The first 40 pages or so of the thread are fucking epic.
And the corresponding pages in the Levy / ENIC thread?..Well![]()

Luvin it!Not Spurs but…..
Isak has apparently kicked off not being let move to Liverpool and there are rumours he refused to play today… was left out of the squad….
Not ideal for Newcastle.
Good, can’t stand them, one league cup in 70 years and they think they are big time. Constant moan about FFP but don’t care where their money comes from. Additionally they keep getting the rub of the green against us currently. Not Spurs but…..

A weaker Newcastle helps us considerably with CL qualification. If Newcastle want to sit at the top table they should dig their heels in.
Liverpool will kill Newcastle's momentum with this one transaction.
A strong Newcastle United would be good for the Premier League.
They should do their best to compete with Liverpool; not assist them in getting stronger while weakening themselves.
We need Liverpool as strong as possible
Whether he signs or not, its proof how stupid it is to start player threads before they've been announced by the club.191 pages. 3,810 posts....for a player who'll probably never wear a Spurs jersey in his career

tbf Both Ornstein and Romano basically said it was done.Whether he signs or not, its proof how stupid it is to start player threads before they've been announced by the club.
We literally have a transfer thread to discuss transfers, but instead bellends create player threads for any credible link because they think they get points for being first or something, and so the transfer thread is just discussion of baseless speculation and a 2nd (or 20th) place to slag off Levy.
If it isn't us I'd rather have City back on top tbh, they were quite benign, they don't have any real fans or any presence online or in workplaces, their success feels like a pause on teams with huge nationwide following giving it large at work or in the pub even if they've never so much as sniffed the air in the city their tean resides in. Liverpool on the other hand have fans fucking everywhere, massive online following and are the most insufferable bunch of cunts we don't have a direct rivalry with.
Because I think City are a way off their old selves and Liverpool will likely be the only thing stopping Woolwich for the league
But still proves the point. Nothing is certain until the contract is signed. You don't get a merit badge for creating a thread...no reason to not discuss Tottenham summer transfer activity in the Tottenham summer transfers thread.tbf Both Ornstein and Romano basically said it was done.
these are unusual circumstances.
I'm the exact opposite - if we don't win I'd rather it be Liverpool. They piss me off because it's proof that it can be done responsibly, but they've built their squad the right way and I can't fault them for it. Supporters are twats, but most oppo are (and plenty of our own, TBF).If it isn't us I'd rather have City back on top tbh, they were quite benign, they don't have any real fans or any presence online or in workplaces, their success feels like a pause on teams with huge nationwide following giving it large at work or in the pub even if they've never so much as sniffed the air in the city their tean resides in. The pearl clutching over the manner of Trent's exit was just the latest in a long line of incidents that left me with a bad taste in my mouth, but I really wrote them wankers off after their players trained in the Luis Suarez t-shirts after his 8 match ban for racism against Evra was handed down. Victim mentality went into overdrive, the big bad Premier League have it out for Liverpool and Suarez was actually just using a term of endearment in his native country...despite having zero contextual reason to do so...
