Need some help?Only thing I've nailed in months.
I'm having a drier spell than friggin Shane Long.
FarkenelIf leeds dont start off well their manager might get the sack. If he does wonder if the tabloids headline will be 'farke off'.![]()
Because total amount of goals we scored (65 or something) was so-so - we often forgot that some part of it was farmed in couple games (like Soton, Everton, Ipswich). Just check on how many PL games we were not able to scoredRegarding do we need help scoring goals or stopping conceding. It is not as simple as just looking at the numbers. Yes we scored a lot of goals but there were matches when we just never looked like scoring and needed more creativity. Also it was done by attacking in numbers which helped us score goals but led to us conceding. If as everyone expects we play a more defensive style it will reduce our goals scored and conceded.
Kudus hopefully has the creativity missing last season but I still feel we need another that can get goals that others would miss. Kane & Son used to do that but Kane has gone and Son can no longer do it.
Then why question my initial post with we should be aiming for 75+ GF and that.....so your not really proposing a big season are you?No, I am saying that GA, not GF, is our major issue.
We've conceded 60+ for 3 straight seasons. That predates Ange.
I've said multiple times that many overrated our back line and our midfield has been a continual weakness. This all began in the late Poch era, and has continued.
Too much attention has been placed on our attack, which, again - is not the issue. I pointed out that 65 goals would be one of our worst seasons in the past decade. You pointed out that clubs have been finishing in the top 4 with those sorts of goal tallies. Pretty simple deduction that the issue is at the other end of the pitch, then.
Improving the midfield would help massively with both. The fact we were so bad in transition last season was one of the reasons we were so poor in the league.Because total amount of goals we scored (65 or something) was so-so - we often forgot that some part of it was farmed in couple games (like Soton, Everton, Ipswich). more than 1 goal - answer is 20! Defense was leaking, but we were often also toothless. Absolute shitshow. Big task on improving in both of those aspects.

What do you mean other?
We did not have one player with 20 goals and assists.
Kluivert for Bournemouth did better than any of our front players.
Forest just dont want to sell MGW. Reminds me of berahino scenario. Player desperate to join us but club just being awkward and ruining a players career.
Does not surprise me we didn’t play Ange Ball at all last season it was some sort of hybrid.Fun fact: We scored the 2nd most counter attacks in the league last season
Wouldn't make the slightest bit of difference to me Bruv. I've said it time and again, I don't care what the fee is as long as it's the right player.

Reminds me of the Non League Paper headline some years agoIf leeds dont start off well their manager might get the sack. If he does wonder if the tabloids headline will be 'farke off'.![]()
If you watched a lot of games you would notice that many players have played in different positions. We´re one of the richest clubs in the world, still we have fans that wants to play 18 year old boys out of position!!!
Jesus H Christ on a popsicle stick!!
Eh?Would make a difference to me. It would signify this club being as committed to challenging the biggest clubs for the biggest trophies, as it is for building an elite real estate portfolio
Rather have Bamber Gascoigne.
