What are we moaning about today then?

Regarding do we need help scoring goals or stopping conceding. It is not as simple as just looking at the numbers. Yes we scored a lot of goals but there were matches when we just never looked like scoring and needed more creativity. Also it was done by attacking in numbers which helped us score goals but led to us conceding. If as everyone expects we play a more defensive style it will reduce our goals scored and conceded.
Kudus hopefully has the creativity missing last season but I still feel we need another that can get goals that others would miss. Kane & Son used to do that but Kane has gone and Son can no longer do it.
Because total amount of goals we scored (65 or something) was so-so - we often forgot that some part of it was farmed in couple games (like Soton, Everton, Ipswich). Just check on how many PL games we were not able to scored
more than 1 goal - answer is 20! Defense was leaking, but we were often also toothless. Absolute shitshow. Big task on improving in both of those aspects.

No, I am saying that GA, not GF, is our major issue.

We've conceded 60+ for 3 straight seasons. That predates Ange.

I've said multiple times that many overrated our back line and our midfield has been a continual weakness. This all began in the late Poch era, and has continued.

Too much attention has been placed on our attack, which, again - is not the issue. I pointed out that 65 goals would be one of our worst seasons in the past decade. You pointed out that clubs have been finishing in the top 4 with those sorts of goal tallies. Pretty simple deduction that the issue is at the other end of the pitch, then.
Then why question my initial post with we should be aiming for 75+ GF and that.....so your not really proposing a big season are you?

Improving the midfield would help massively with both. The fact we were so bad in transition last season was one of the reasons we were so poor in the league.

Forest just dont want to sell MGW. Reminds me of berahino scenario. Player desperate to join us but club just being awkward and ruining a players career.

It's irrelevant.

There was a clause and it obviously must hold/contain certain stipulations.

In essence however, it's a binding contract between player and club, Forest will have no choice but to allow the player to talk to us.

So, the issue is there must be an issue which at the present time means neither yes or no.

It will be resolved.

If they don’t, then leave them alone and move on to another target.

Chances are if we do that, we find that they do want to sell him but they were hoping to get more than the release clause because their owner is naive to football at this level

We´re one of the richest clubs in the world, still we have fans that wants to play 18 year old boys out of position!!!

Jesus H Christ on a popsicle stick!!
If you watched a lot of games you would notice that many players have played in different positions.

My point was if we don't buy a DM and have to manufacture one, then Vuskovic has more attributes to play there than Gray does. He played there in his youth teams.

Bissouma and Bentancur just aren't good enough for that position.

It’s all good man, we can disagree on here.

It seems that if MGW really wants away from Forest, whether that's coming to us or whoever then he has to match Forest in terms of playing hard-ball and refuse to train/play and hand in a transfer request and let the players association union and the premier league resolve it!

This imo will only result in MGW leaving Forest for pastures new sooner rather than later.
