£500M for a stadium naming rights deal for 20 years is not in the realms of impossibility. £25m per year for a PL stadium of a team in the CL 50% of the time (which you think would increase with more investment), that hosts 30 non-football events (World Title Boxing fights, massive music concerts, NFL games etc.). Really surprised the club were not able to find a sponsor before and that Levy has allowed us to go 5 years without that income stream.
The Tottenham name recognition by keeping the name Tottenham Hotspur Stadium could be worth more than £25m/year commercially, for all we know. Once it gets to a point of diminishing returns you sign the naming rights deal. Levy might be a lot of things, but definitely not one to leave money on the table.

We haven’t competed with City or Liverpool but we’ve competed with every other team in the league consistently over the past decade. Including teams that have historically been much bigger than us.

Complète petulance from people here.

How many other PL teams had 5 players all with 20+ goal involvements each.

Then look how many teams conceded more goals in PL.

What do you mean other?
We did not have one player with 20 goals and assists.
Kluivert for Bournemouth did better than any of our front players.

Regarding do we need help scoring goals or stopping conceding. It is not as simple as just looking at the numbers. Yes we scored a lot of goals but there were matches when we just never looked like scoring and needed more creativity. Also it was done by attacking in numbers which helped us score goals but led to us conceding. If as everyone expects we play a more defensive style it will reduce our goals scored and conceded.
Kudus hopefully has the creativity missing last season but I still feel we need another that can get goals that others would miss. Kane & Son used to do that but Kane has gone and Son can no longer do it.

Solanke is quite an average player but he’s sensible and plays percentages and will definitely do better around better players
hmm maybe you are right, that looks to be the case unfortunately. but i think he deserves the chance with proper wide players first, lets be honest his service since hes been here has been shite. he does look like he lacks that aggression when it comes to banging in goals, but none the less he deserves a fair crack with proper service.
