So we scraped in to the CL through the back door for one season ....no signs of let's make the best of it and give it a real fucking go ....
As we'd expect. We didnt once when we were previously in it.

He's not Baleba I do get that, just think he's almost more suited to us, especially if we're going to go big on set pieces under Frank, monster in the air also.I think he would be a good addition and a very good addition in the short term, I'm just looking at the drawbacks with him, the same way Woolwich had the issue with Rice as their 6, we'd be facing more or less a similar issue with him in that position.
It's a minute detail but it's an important detail because it often gets overlooked.
Clearly making room for either baleba or Wharton
Palhinha can pass, you don't get to Bayern or the Portuguese national team not being able to pass.
This is why hoarding young players for the sake of it doesn't work. Many will never be given a chance and we will find out when they're at another club that they were actually good players. Why?
There's about 5 players in front of him in the 10 role and let's be real he isn't near the first team.
Probably best to sell and have a buy back clause.
He would only have 1 striker then?
Funny enough the other player in that link is basically Millennial Alfie Devine. We were in this exact situation a decade ago. Why?

Devine imo is an excellent young talent but instead we splashed 35m on Gray meaning him and Donely will never be given a fair crack of the whip.

The Greek’s favourite song…A Boy Named SueI'm starting to think there is absolutely zero news on MGW coming out from journalists because their papers have told them not to comment as Forest are threatening to sue anyone that does. Bully boy tactics used by some other PL clubs in the past.
You think he needs more charts like you don't ya?
Gray is way ahead of Devine. Devine is almost 21 and can't get in the England U21 squad and Gray has been in it since he was 18. Gray did well in the Championship, Devine struggled there and had to go to Belgium to get minutes where his numbers weren't great for a number 10This is why hoarding young players for the sake of it doesn't work. Not for us he isn't.... Though would LOVE HIM here!
....Surely Deki can have a word in his Swedish shell-like?Isak tells Newcastle he wants to leave so assume pool will get him. They are having a window spurs fans couldn't even dream about and here we are with a new manager with only one proper new signing so far.
Just goes to show not all American owners are bad news for clubs
