Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

This is a vicious cycle for us, we don’t invest in top players and fall behind, and then top players don’t want to join us because we’ve fallen behind. Despondent state of affairs.

That is the dichotomy of where we find ourselves; yup. Fucking stings that when we were ballin'; we were in the thick of the stadium project.

Lookin' fwd................ CL ain't much of a springboard right now; but it sure as hell beats 17th and no CL as a basis to get us out of this rut.

Have no belief in the Rodrygo 90m rumours.... But can we sweet talk RM into a juicy loan fee and see how Rod likes it here at the end of the year (and from his perspective; short term he'd still be in the CL shop window)?

Kudus
Paquetta
Rodrygo (loan)
DM

.......That would be a pretty solid upgrade on the first XI no?

I think it was bus-conductor bus-conductor who first mentioned Paqueta yesterday, good player, but I just cannot fathom a world where the spammers sell us two key players on one window. There would be pie and mash everywhere.

£30mill is a good price for him though.

He’s definitely holding one of his family members hostage

I assume this bullshit is from this article

Rodrygo is left without alternatives - AS.com Rodrygo se queda sin alternativas
which only mentions us in final paragraph
"He only has the option of Tottenham , but the London club would be a step down compared to his other options. Little by little, Rodrygo is running out of alternatives to leave…"

End of day want players who want to join us and enthusiastic playing for us. Kudus wanted to join us and couldnt give a shit about leaving West ham. MGW would rather be a big fish in small pond and never play in the champions league. His loss and shows were small time if we dwell. Need to sign other targets. Imo need 3 or 4 top players. Top striker for starters.

Even if we were to spend the 90m, he’s on £200k pw.

He’d instantly be our highest paid player, meaning Romero would need the same, even if we sold Son to make space on the wage bill.

Liverpool, Chelsea, Woolwich, even Newcastle would spend those type of wages on a depth piece.

Woolwich have already spent more than our record transfer window, so if they can afford Eze on top of that it would be a real show of ambition from the cunts.
I don't think they can afford any more signings unless they sell Trossard/Martinelli for very good money

they've brought in
Kepa
defender from Valencia
Zubamendi 56M
Noorgard 10M
Gyokeres 60M
and Madueke 42M

three of these cost almost 200M

if we went hard for Eze it'd be interesting to see if he was interested particularly if the scum don't move for him.

If we really wanted to win the CL and the PL then we’d have needed to have signed Oshimen or Isak, Kudus, MGW and Wharton, just to have a seat at the table. Now MGW has fallen through, the club need to push the boat out to sign at the very least 2 or 3 players who will improve us.
