They sell players better than the ones we can buy. That’s why there is a gap between us. They’re getting rid of players better than ones we are investing our hopes in.

We won the second biggest available European Trophy last season.

I don't know what would satisfy you, but for sure is you are looking for unbridled spending then you are obviously supporting the wrong club whomever the owners be.

We have never outspent other clubs in the top tier of English football.

Big club is a weird term. To me it means actual support base. The way I see a big club is if you had 100k stadium with normal ticket prices could you fill it each week. I think we could, I think Woolwich, Liverpool and United could and that’s probably about it so I think we fit the definition. Maybe Villa and Newcastle might just about as well, not even 100% on Chelsea with this.

What we are not is an ambitious club or one with wealthy benefactors and that is more important. Our ownership needs a reset or change.

Definitely a reset is required, I believe we have everything to be a big hitter both domestically and in Europe.
What we don't have is the leadership to drive it forward.
