Well this is awkward!
The tweets, which took place when Maddison was a teenager, read: “I hate Gareth Bale with a passion, calm down you monkey, Wilshere is 10x better than you chimpanzee,” and “Hope Luis Suarez destroys Tottenham today, don't like Spurs! Especially that monkey that everyone’s on about!”
Maddison, who was playing for Coventry City’s youth team at the time, will be hoping that Spurs fans are in forgiving moods, otherwise, his start to life at the club could be extremely difficult.

Why are people talking about Rodrygo as though the club would do any more than an enquiry? And even if it were the kind of deal ENIC could stomach, don’t you think that’s the kind of deal that would get hijacked by far more serious clubs? All it would take is his camp reaching out and those clubs would go “That’s it? Someone call Florentino now.”

No one knows the legalities of the contract whether a release clause was in it or not?

My concern would be when the amount of the release clause was known why didn't a single European club counter our bid, not one?

There comes a point when a club has to move on, or decides that the player simply isn't worth what the selling club is now offering the player to stay. No doubt the players agent may have said to Lange, well Marinakis is offering xxxx in wages.

That to my mind as a DOF would say well the player only wants the most money, not the club, it's future or to wear the shirt and I wouldn't blame Levy to take the stance and say fuck him.

In fact I think most clubs would.

We know for sure that what Spurs offered Forest for MGW was not enough.

We also know for sure that MGW was happy to sign up for increased remuneration and 3 more years at Forest.

Most of us are also pretty sure that Levy and ENIC are full of shit.

Let's stick to what we know?
