Match Super Cup Final - Spurs vs PSG, Weds 13th Aug, 8pm

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Anyone got two seats in a car/taxi from Udine back to Venice Airport or Venice after the match? Need a ride for me and my son. We’re up for going and watching us destroy PSG with the Frank Engine if we can sort out post match transport.
Cheers
I've hired a car from Marco Polo airport so we can stay just outside (11km approx) Udine after match. It was quite cheap altho I'm waiting for the hidden extras.

Fun question for the oldies. Who did we play in the Charity Shield in 1961?

Very low attendance too.

Huge variation between biggest and smallest crowd that double winning year. Anyone know why? Stadium works? Or just not the interest in some matches?

Highest attendance was against West Ham. Maybe they are long term rivals after all!! Who knew.

The days when we played winning and attractive football, when we could field more or less the same starting 11 for every game and the most 'exotic' signings came from across the border.
No advertising, squad numbers or names on shirts; as Danny Blanchflower famously replied to the dignitary who asked why we didn't have our names on tracksuits, because "we know each other".
I wasn't around NL at the time of The Double (didn't come over until 1962), but I know my history:)

it was only when they started playing at Wembley 1974 that it really got a lot of exposure. I can't remember a single one before the infamous Keegan and Bremner shirt episode. Apart from Jennings scoring in 67 v MUFC and that's not a memory just a known fact. 12th Aug I imagine a lot of people were on hols and even if you werent youd save your money for the next league game and not a meaningless friendly. Just seen the first 2 Aug matches at home were biggies - Spam and Goons, far more attractive games.

all 3 big London derbies were 65,000 or so. Even Fulham got 56,000

FA cup 4th round v Crewe - 63,000!!

You can say that again!
