Not sure why newcastle cant sign players. Not sure if its the manager or location or both. They have money burning in their pockets.
I'm sure there's something else going on. Feels like Liverpool and City are trying to cock-block them tbh

Said on sky they have 125m to spend. Plus their best player wants to leave. Not sure if Howe is a big enough pull for top players or players dont fancy it up there.
There was going to be a sanity clause in his contract but his agent said he didn't believe in sanity clauses.

Also players wives have a long journey to London. Even driving to Manchester takes the same time as Manchester tto London. So players families feel quite isolated in the North East. It's cos players have now worked out they will have to live in Newcastle
We look for "opportunities" in the marketHonestly, I don’t think we’re signing another winger or striker until we manage to sell a few, that’s just how we operate under this current leadership, and the way it’s going to be. We’re sitting on a long list of wide/forward options: Richarlison, Yang, Solomon, Gil, Tel, Kulu, Johnson, Kudos, Odobert, and of course, Son. There’s quantity, but not necessarily the right quality or balance.
It wouldn’t surprise me at all if we keep Richarlison for another season. And even more worryingly, I think there’s still this internal hope that Kane might come back next summer, which could be influencing our reluctance to bring in a proper forward now. That kind of thinking is wishful at best and amateurish at worst.
The MGW situation says it all. If we did bid for him, it feels like it was more opportunistic than part of any real strategy. Because if we truly had a plan, we’d be targeting someone of his profile or someone like-for-like right now — not just reacting to availability, yet no rumours of any kind.
All of this points to a bigger issue: our transfer strategy is all over the place. There’s no clear direction, just scattered moves and half-measures. If we want to genuinely compete, that has to change.
Let’s sell them Richy to make them feel goodNot sure why newcastle cant sign players. Not sure if its the manager or location or both. They have money burning in their pockets.
Excellent. A real coup.
Yeah but not against us?Good move for him, at least Europa League experience for him there, preferably Champions League though.
(Although, would he be able to play in the CL for Rangers with Spurs also being in it?)
Location plays a massive part. Any top player is gonna want a fuck ton more money to compensate for living / playing up there. Not sure why newcastle cant sign players. Not sure if its the manager or location or both. They have money burning in their pockets.
He’d be great, and the exact sort of signing we should be making. Which is why it won’t happen.
