Do you reckon we are looking at him for CM or AM? Haven't seen him at all, his passing stats look good on FBRef but doesn't seem to carry the ball very often/at all? I'll be honest if Palinha is coming in think we could do with a CM who can both carry the ball and has decent progressive passing stats, we run the risk of becoming too immobile if no one is comfortable carrying the ball in the midfield, we have seen that all too well with the Skippbjerg midfield.

I'll give you Millot but we would have been shelling out £60m for MGW, really felt that deal was a sign of actually targeting a player we needed and fit the profile perfectly of a player who would vastly improve our midfield rather than being in any way opportunistic. Actually can understand the dallying on targeting an alternative because he would have fit us like a glove, hard to find a player who does what he does that doesn't cost a 9 figure fee.
I agree to an extent but I highly rate James Maddison in the AM role in our team and at his best he is both quite tenacious on the ball and a visionary passer to boot, I'm interested if we're looking at Millot for the 8 but if we are I really think we need a strong dribbler in that 3, we have missed what Dembele gave us so much ever since he left. As I said I have not watched the player even for one minute so I don't want to draw conclusions but I hope we are after him because he fits rather than because he is available and realistic.
