lol exactly.

We need a 6 and a better creative midfielder: Levy targets Palhinha on a cut price loan deal and then goes for two midfielders with low release clauses (MGW/Millot). It’s perfect!

I've liked Gibbs-White since he was 18 and probably called him a Poch player when we lost out on Barkley, so I was pretty gutted when he signed a new deal at Forest. Millot is also a good player so I'd welcome that

In terms of Palhinha I'm not too inspired. If he's still got the legs and we get the Fulham version, then fine. But knowing us, he won't be able to escape that second yellow as he did so often

Want us to keep bentacur tbh.
We need to work out what his role is IMO, he is good at everything but not really great at anything, both his offensive and defensive stats measure up well with other midfielders, he is certainly a useful player to have, but I don't get the sense he is good enough to be a starter if we have aspirations of qualifying for CL through league position being brutally honest. His injury record is another concern.
Jota (RiP) <> Ekitike
Nunez <> Isak
If Liverpool do get Isak they will piss the league next season, I think City are starting a new cycle and will take a year or 2 to get back to peak and Woolwich despite having a good window are still paling in comparison to the work Liverpool are putting in, who were already substantially better than them last season.

I think we still make at least three more signings:

- versatile forward to replace Richarlison/Son
- left back to challenge Udogie
- attacking midfielder

I still think Romero will leave as well, we are still being linked to players like Guehi, Zabarnyi etc which makes no sense if he’s staying.
THREE?!

Hahahahahahahhahahahhahahahaha.

I reckon we’ll get one more and they won’t be first XI calibre

PL Squad

U21: Tel, Odobert, Gray, Bergvall, Vuskovic, Takai, Donley, Lankshear, Yang (Scarlett, Devine seeking loans)

HGP: Solanke, Johnson, Maddison, Davies, Spence, Danso, Austin, [Empty]

Foreign: 1. Richarlison, 2. Kudus, 3. Kulusevski, 4. Sarr, 5. Bentancur, 6. Van de Ven, 7. Porro, 8. Romero, 9. Udogie, 10. Dragusin, 11. Vicario, 12. Palhinha, 13. Bissouma?, 14. Solomon?, 15. Kinsky?, 16. Son?, 17. Millot?, [17 MAXIMUM] 18. Gil?

MGW would have really had us on easy street there, but still in very good shape. Only Odobert and Takai graduate from U21 status for next season and will need senior slots.

UEFA Squad

Club trained: Austin, [Empty], [Empty], [Empty]

Association trained: Solanke, Johnson, Maddison, Spence

U21: Donley, Lankshear (Scarlett, Devine seeking loans)

Foreign: 1. Tel, 2. Odobert, 3. Gray, 4. Bergvall, 5. Richarlison, 6. Kudus, 7. Kulusevski, 8. Sarr, 9. Bentancur, 10. Van de Ven, 11. Porro, 12. Romero, 13. Udogie, 14. Danso, 15. Vicario, 16. Palhinha, 17. Vuskovic? [17 MAXIMUM] 18. Davies? 19. Kinsky? 20. Bissouma? 21. Son? 22. Solomon? 23. Millot? 24. Takai? 25. Yang? 26. Dragusin?

The "must be registered to a team for two years to count as U21" rule just absolutely kills us here. A seemingly core, regular player or two is going to be left out here, there's just no other way, and we have nowhere to put any new signings.

Gray and Bergvall go U21 next year, and Scarlett and Devine will become club-trained.

We might get the left back possibly but I reckon the club consider the left wing position filled for the upcoming season at least, we've shelled out £38m for Tel between the loan fee and transfer fee, £30m on Odobert, the fact we've loaned Moore points to Son staying another season as well IMO, we may or may not opt for striker cover if we get a decent fee for Richarlison this window but the player seems unwilling to take a step down to move, which drastically limits our options as no one in a top league is gonna want to shell out £30m and 90k a week in wages on a player with his injury record, so I think we're stuck with him for this season at least. If we can keep him fit and firing he's good backup anyway, and it puts him in the shop window.

Seems clear we are going for an 8/10 hybrid if the Millot links and failed MGW pursuit are anything to go on. We really need to just cut some losses somewhere on outgoings and get some players shifted though, think if we have an 8/10 come in we have 4 players (Bentancur, Sarr, Bergvall, new player) in the 8 and 3 (Maddison, Kulu, new player) in the 10. The squad is so bloated right now and we have to stick or twist on some players, hard to do with a new manager wanting a chance to assess but Frank needs to come to some fast conclusions and stick some players in the bargain bin to free up squad spaces for incomings.
