Get the statue sorted, tomorrow. Preferably of this. A true legend in every respect of the word. To this day, the most secure I’ve ever felt watching any player getting the ball in front of goal. His legacy is undeniable. LEGEND

The best goal i have seen from a Spurs player since Ricky's at Wembley.

Looking back at this goal, it is obvious his pace has diminished, but his spirit, determination and desire is still with him.

To my mind Kane may hold the Holy Grail of Spurs records, but Son is head and shoulders in front of Kane as a modern era legend to Spurs.

He carried on irrespective of Kane leaving, and has delivered us a Trophy that should have his name etched on it, as much as that of the Europe League inscription.

From a humble first season with us, to a professional that every other PL player respected, not necessarily for his skill and dedication to the game, but because of the man he is, and always will be.

Humble.

He will soon be gone, but never will he be forgotten.

Amen that I witnessed such a player.

Man, Kane is probably better overall as a player, but Sonny means more. To me and to the club I think. He chose us every time.

And now, when he’s not what he was, he goes out as captain of our best achievement in 20+ years. I’m both devastated and happy he’s going out on top.

I want a statue of him before anyone else. He is the definition of a legend for me. I will be telling my grandkids about him. I have nothing but positive feelings and memories of him. He’s Spurs forever.

Sonny deserves his special roses in this moment for what the EL achievement means for the club and its capstone on his personal story, but I don't think there can be any real question that as the years pass and these guys retire that we're never going to think of Kane or Son without thinking of the other in the same breath. They're the best double act in Premier League history, intertwined forever.

Damn. I got the news pushed from the club WhatsApp channel. I feel like crying seeing the news...

We all knew this will come one day. I still wish it didn't. I keep hoping he would have wanted to play CL for one more season with us.. The faint hope.. Now the day of truth finally comes, it's just, unbelievable... 😭

Thanks Sonny for the loyal 10 years and the cup. You are a fine legend and human. And for all of us in Asia, we are just so so so so proud of you, even from many who aren't football fans or fans of Spurs 💙🤍

😭
