You can build Sonny up without tearing others down.

LaLiga has won more UCLs in the modern era than any other league. And it’s not even close.

The top 5 players of all time (for me, Messi, Maradona, Pele, CR7, and Cruyff) either never played in England (four of them) or played their prime in another league (CR7). Of the top 10 of all time, maybe one played his prime in England. One!

So, LaLiga dominates the UCL historically, the best players of all time didn’t play in England, and the national team (mostly EPL) never wins anything, but the EPL is the toughest league in the world! Do you know how stupid this sounds?
I bet you go to funerals and say things like, "Well, he wasn't always nice, was he?"

A club legend through and through. He could have moved on when Kane did but demonstrated loyalty. Club captain when we finally ended the trophy drought too.

A fantastic human being and a top player who was truly elite in his prime. The timing is right but I'm still going to miss seeing him in a Spurs shirt.

Don't really agree with what many seems to think he is losing it due to his age, even his speed. On hindsight I think he has long considered this to be his last season even before winning the Europa and it just affected him all around. The cup win really was the best thing to happen to him to cap off his time for us. Think we can expect a rejuvenated and shackles off kind of player tomorrow and subsequently in the MLS.

Pretty obvious this LA deal has been agreed for quite a while now, and now the Korea tour is nearly over, we are getting snippets coming through that the "deal is advanced" and "nearly sealed".

No, the deal has been done for weeks. They've just all kept it quiet for the Korea tour.

What's the bet as soon as we leave Korea, the deal will be confirmed within hours / days.
