Seriously concenred for us this season with the way we are lining up.

Where are our goals coming from?

We've lost Son and Maddison, they are our chief goalscorers and assists.

What exactly do the club think they are doing going into a new season without signing more attacking talent?

Kudus, Tel and Odobert are not goalscorers, not proven, not reliable. Kudus can make things happen but he's not prolific.

Are we really relying on Solanke and Johnson?

Fucking hell. We are fucked. This season will be a shit show. It won't be Frank's fault, jhe's being hung out to dry.

"Bottom line here is unless one is a vehemently opposed to every facet of our ownership; you'll continue to frame them as brainwashed followers (or some other crap).... Blind to the fact you are every bit as extreme on the 'scale' of opinion as those whom you're set up in opposition to."

Good Lord. You really are a piece of work aren't you?

Still despite the name calling, are you going to answer exactly why you think this ownership are good for the club, and why? And how do you think we've improved over the last 15 or so years.

I bet you hop around that too.

This kind of shit never seems to happen to the important players in a few clubs I could mention, but for us, our players are consistently out injured. I know it's a lot of luck, but when do we have a season without a pile of injuries?

Well some is bad luck, but we signed Maddison when he was notoriously injury prone. So, can we really be that surprised?

Go back in for Gibbs-White

Was thinking this myself.

How much more would we have to pay The BFG to prize him away though?

At least 70m, probably 80m.......... Is he 80m good?

Eze's injury history ain't great....... Knowing our luck he'll fall to pieces the moment we got him through the door.

I just copy and paste you calling me brainwashed by association, it still means the same thing. I could say someone is X, and they think like you, and I'm still insulting by extension. You're not slick.

I couldn't be bothered digging, but you're very clearly, staunchly a big fan of his because you get upset when he's questioned. I'm trying to understand why that is? Are you too embarrassed to say or what's the deal? Bottom line is we've regressed over the last decade and a half. One flukey trophy doesn't fix that. Wigan had a harder run winning the FA cup the year they did, and got relegated.

I'd just truthfully like to understand why the need to defend someone that is clearly using the club as a vehicle for his own personal gain?

There's no need to insult each other.

Don’t get your hopes up for an Eze or anyone else highly rated, the club doesn’t move that way.

The number 10s will be El Khannouss, Bergvall and/or some random player you’ve never heard of where their current club would see it as a huge windfall to pick up £10m - £15m. At least until Dec/Jan when Kulu returns.

On the links to El Khannous.

No fucking thank you.

This is Levy all over. Shopping at Aldi, buying from clubs who are vulnerable with release clauses.

It's bull shit. It's the type of signing we will regret, he'll come here, flop, we won't be able to sell him. be farming him out on loan in two years as he winds his ocntract down, eventually leaving in 2030.

If that is honestly the answer to our number 10 issues, to go out and sign someone for 20 million, it really says it all about our ambitions. Utterly pathetic and embarassing.
Focusing on the price of the player isn’t really the point. If El Khannouss didn’t have a relegation clause Leicester would probably be asking for 35m or more.

Ultimately, I like us getting players under their market value. The problem I have is Levy not weighing that with ensuring the squad is correctly balanced too.

El Khannouss’s numbers suggest he was being very creative last season in a very poor team. While he’s no Maddison replacement in terms of being a proven scorer and assisted over a number of years, he does have potential to get the ball moving creatively for us, and at the moment that is the biggest shortfall in this squad by a long way.

We'll bring in some cheap kid for £10-£15m and then Levy will get his pants pulled down by an agent for £60-£70m for some bang average midfielder

I haven’t really looked at his numbers so this is a genuine Q:

Which numbers suggest he was very creative in a poor team?

Absolutely zero chance Forest sell MGW after the show Marinakis put on, he'd make himself a laughing stock. It isn't happening in a million years. So no idea why people are making that suggestion.
