Why would he be? Do you think he’s so likeable a bloke that every manager feels the need to go on about it, or do you think it’s more likely it’s very spoon fed and ‘can’t really say anything else’ type questions from the club?

Maybe they’re asked by journalists given the narratives that go around. And every time people say « no hes supportive and we have a great relationship » and people stick their fingers in their ears… or say they actually mean the opposite.
I don't think chairmen are ever *liked* by managers. Just kinda not the nature of the two roles. Deeply respected and trusted in some cases, but not liked.
But almost all of Levy's managers have believed themselves to have the measure of and a solution for The Levy Problem, and virtually all of them have wound up surprised and betrayed.
It really is totally absurd for a Premier League chairman to have sacked 10 managers to whom he'd personally given the full reins of the operation. Which doesn't even count the Santini farce (or Sherwood).
He's just been here way, way too long.

How can Frank mean he's been supported by Levy when Levy has said he wants to win things and Frank says he'll take seventh?
What are they meant to say when asked that question?
