Grealish yes, because it wouod be a year and you would think he wants to prove a point and force his way into England's world cup squad.

Grealish would also encourage one or two others to join..... I think.

Put it this way, he is by far the most commercially sensible as well as his ability.

Whether this suits Frank or is something that Levy will sanction who knows, but Grealish can be in no doubt Guardiola wants him gone.

Plus, clubs in the area will get a real boost.

He’s got zero athletic gifts to speak of and can’t run a game from the centre of midfield. He is basically my worst fears for what Mikey Moore may become, a soft, tentative player who is neither attacking midfielder or winger.

Both him and Elliott are getting touted around as they’re free PSR money but if they were actually good enough for our ambitions their parent clubs would want to keep them.

That's not entirely accurate.

Should also be rules about minimum wage to turnover ratio to protect the product and stop scammers like ENIC
That's actually a great idea. Make sure the money goes to the guys supplying the product that generates the income in the first place.
The spectators, the TV companies, the sponsors..they're all paying to see the product on the pitch, not real estate and property development.

Nah mate, he has something about him. Now he might not end up being an elite player but he'd certainly improve our creativity in the short to medium term.

We've very little now in that department.

Exactly what I’m saying.

ENIC shouldn’t be able to charge PL ticket prices and spend 40% of wages to revenue on the product. Industry standards etc

In a bar in the Algarve watching Kaiserslautern v Schalke... the Kaisers have a playmaker who is absolutely bossing the game. He's so direct and has an unveilable range of passing, cutbacks, through balls. Bundasliga 2, 30 years old and this guy is head and shoulders above anything we've got. Marlon Ritter. Take a bow son.

Grealish is a bad idea. He doesn't give a fuck about football anymore. If we bought him to London he would be as fat as Ndombele and as pissed up as Gazza after a fortnight but we would end up with Ndombele the footballer and not Gazza the footballer.

Yeah agreed.

It's such a shit product atm. Not sure why anyone thinks PSR in its current iteration is good, lol. We might laugh at Newcastle and Villa but ultimately its the big clubs panicking and closing shop .. which now includes Chelsea and City as they're already there and comfy.

It's not remotely fair. Nor is everyone being able to spend whatever they want because they got a big takeover but instead all we got is ringfencing things. And yeah, we're stuck with ENIC who don't really care as long as the revenue keeps going and the market value of the club rises.

If PSR was about fairness we would've seen flat caps across the board.

40 mil is a bit steep for McAtee but, unlike some others, I was always impressed with him when I watched Sheffield. Didn’t hardly play last year so no clue what he looks like nowadays tbf.

.......I swear at the begining of the summer the talk was of him being available for 25m (w/ City probably demanded a buyback clause). If they're now demanding 40m then it suggests they're not overtly keen to let him go.

(Like Paz) would be a huge pressure on the kid bringing him in to be our main man though!

Went to kaiserlautern in 99. Went on coach convoy from whl to kaisterlautern. Great laugh. Sadly we got knocked out but still enjoyable trip.

I just totally disagree.

We need a player who can come in and run a game for us. Someone who can pick all the passes, be the main man in the middle the way Madders was, set everyone else up.

McAtee isn’t that.

And if you aren’t that, OK, what can you do out of possession? McAtee is a 22 year old child (seriously, he looks deformed, like he stopped growing three years too early) with zero pace and he won’t be able to press at all. Transitions with him will be laughable.

No. Unless you’re good enough to actually run a game and dictate play with the ball to useful results, you can’t be as useless out of possession as he is.

Salary cap for all of Europe’s top 5 leagues that also has a minimum wage to revenue ratio.

If they actually cared about fans and protecting the sport,

They don’t though. It’s about rigging it to keep the biggest brands at the top for marketing purposes
