Let’s just remember that Liverpool only signed Chiesa and a keeper who wouldn’t join for a year last summer. This off the back of a bad season in their eyes and a new manager joining. You can bet their fans were spitting blood and yet they ended up winning the league. This summer they’ve spent loads, the fans are happy and they probably won’t do as well as last season. Sod’s Law. I hope we sign a few more players but think even if we do we’re only battling for top six or eight so not too fussed really. Hopefully we can do a pool and confound the critics after a poor window.
