Oh no I was referring to Frank
No way Frank can come in and allow biss to take the piss and just continually swan into training when he wants and punk him like a bitch.
He has literally done the opposite to setting the tone from the off. He had all pre season to draw the line on turning up late to training. No way Frank can come in and allow biss to just continually swan into training when he wants and punk him like a bitch.
Or any other player.
Sends the wrong message to the other tplayers.
Set the tone from the off.
Then everything is clear to everyone.
He said from the start he doesn't tolerate dickheadery.
He clearly meant it; wasn't just words.
And important players see that his words hold weight and consequence.
Nothing Frank has said or done has signalled ego.
In fact, it's the opposite.
Just honesty and humility.
But it's underpinned by firmness and determination.
Players will respect that.
So given the fact Biss has been late multiple times in preseason we just... Let him ignore it?He has literally done the opposite to setting the tone from the off. He had all pre season to draw the line on turning up late to training.
Clearly, he gave biss the benefit of the doubt, initially, but he pushed it over the line.He has literally done the opposite to setting the tone from the off. He had all pre season to draw the line on turning up late to training.

So there's a consequence.
Not sure why this is hard to understand.
Can't remember biss even playing much this pre-season and was obviously set to go.
Chances are he knows he's off and taking the piss and Frank ain't having it.
Good.
Having a gameplan designed for the opponent you're playing is now a novel concept for our players. lolHalley-fuckin-ujah
we might actually take note of whats in front of us for the first time in 2 years
“Something has changed,” Vicario said. “I need to read the situation in front of me: sometimes it’s to build from the back and play, sometimes it’s to go long.” Sitting next to him, Ben Davies hinted that the quixotic ways fostered by Ange Postecoglou may be diluted by a shot of pragmatism. “I think we’re definitely going to have a different gameplan depending on the opposition this season,” he said.
'wick'?Frank dropping Bissouma the day before a trophy game is the epitome of bad timing. Could the bloke not have waited a day to fling his *ick around
The trouble with Vicario is that it takes him way too long to decide which option to take. By the time he's made his mind up, an opposition player's on top of him and he has to make the only pass that's available to him.Halley-fuckin-ujah

It's proper mind-blowing.That quote is amazing. "Now I have to read the game in front of me"
"Now"?
It's amazing how we operated the last couple of years, and not "good" amazing

how so? If he' such a bad example he's not going to be in the team or the squad, and if you leave him out the squad uninjured then the press will be all over it within minutesFrank dropping Bissouma the day before a trophy game is the epitome of bad timing. Furthermore miss Reading away or friendlies in Asia or miss the SuperCup , I know which seems the greater sanction to me . This is by far the severest penalty , well done FrankClearly, he gave biss the benefit of the doubt, initially, but he pushed it over the line.

That's how bad things were.

I REALLY hope he sorts that one out, but I've only seen small hints of it, so far.
Maybe because so far he's only had the options of which suicidal short pass he's been told he has to make. Maybe if he allowed to make more long passes based on what's going on in front of him that pressure is gone. The trouble with Vicario is that it takes him way too long to decide which option to take. Hmmm. I've not seen much of that from Vicario in pre-season, but Kinsky's shown it in abundance.Maybe because so far he's only had the options of which suicidal short pass he's been told he has to make. Or I could just be making excuses for him, I don't know. We'll have to see how he fares.
