Brentford were the same, giving up 26 points from winning positions last season. Only 3 better than us.
I can feel your pain at having a proper manager and coach again after last season's chaos.

thoughts and prayers.

No more Quixotic.

Boo fucking hoo

Anything better than a 5-0 drubbing wouldve been a positive. Thats how they won the CL remember?

I'll take a 2-2 v PSG
1-0 v goons
1-1 v Barcodes
every day of the week right now

Last season we couldnt beat fucking Tamworth

but, yeah, let's find the negatives

listening to them talk on tottenhamtv, saying that there's good coaches and there's winners. Frank is a good coach but not a winner because he's never won anything and he choked last night. they're concerned he will be the guy who can never get it over the line

it's funny, at 80 mins with 2 nil up and looking like winning i was actually thinking how great it was to immediately have frank be a winner so that can never be thrown at him or be compared to ange

He would still have been the exact same manager that he was right before the game had we won it.
Conversely, he hadn't suddenly downgraded as a manager during that 10 minute stretch where we lost the lead.

You don't become a better/worse manager/player in a matter of few hours. These narratives surrounding "winners", "losers" and such devolve into magical thinking quite fast.

You only have to listen 10 seconds to them to realize that their opinions have zero value. And most certainly don't predict the future.

3 CB's might be the best way to go a lot of the time this year, in CL and against the top prem sides. for 80 mins last night we looked very good in a back 3. solanke will be fine when hes fit again, the drop off from kudus was alarming though, if thats a savinho or someone else who can hold a ball and give the team a chance to get up the pitch then it makes all the difference.

2 better attackers this window gives frank good tools for options. we should have the ability to dominate the lesser sides too and play more pragmatic against the sides who will keep the ball better than us.

They lost a lot of of credibility to me with the complete 180 on Ange post-final, so I pay very little attention now to some of their bed-wetting.

Passionate about Spurs, but can be a bit delusional in their takes.

this is a really good take - we should have won and Frank has to take some (not all) responsibility for the fact we didn't. It was his substitutions, his team dropping further and further back... my thoughts and prayers go out to all the people so broken by the last 18 months (where we won a trophy) that they excuse the inexcusable just to break free of Ange. Frank showed last night that he is a very good coach, but failing to get over the line will embolden his critics (myself included) that he is not a winner. Glasner wins that game from 2-0 up with 10 to go. No question.
