Olmo might move as he's not doing that well at Barcelona I think - we looked at him after he left the Barcelona academy as a youngster.

I think we only go after him if we do not get Savinho for example. High wages, high fee, and might not be the best we could sign ? So high risk possibly

no way are we getting eze, olmo and sav. if we do have that much money, maybe the eze lump should be going into a more clinical striker.

I'm no body language expert but the way Frank was smiling when that journalist was asking him about Eze and also about potential transfer business in todays press conference, well, Frank looked almost giddy.

I reckon both deals are quite far long I really do.

Never seen a Spurs manager look so delighted at this stage of the window. They usually look like a bulldog licking piss off a nettle.

I could easily see Barca selling Olmo. They've got plenty of options for the 10 and they need money

The source here is fichajes who gets as much right as indykaila...which would be just around 0%

Why is everyone so down on Solanke. Ange's system gave him zero service all season. Frank literally focuses his attack around the striker. With kudus, hopefully with savanho and eze the service in to Solanke will actually exist and he will bang in a bunch of goals this season. Same with richy

I dunno why, but Dani Olmo reminds me of Spud from Trainspotting. Which is the 2nd time I have referenced Spud in 2 days for some reason.

Don't let anyone tell you that no news is good news! The silence is deafening! Both have sounded like done deals since Tuesday and no updates in 72 hours!

mate - chill out.

Palace will not sell until they have someone else lined up.

Probably the same with City who will want to feel confident they have a replacement for a player they only bought a year ago

Classic lost in translation quote there "We have an owner that is unbalanced, we have a major problem"

Had to be done asap.

If Woolwich sell Trossard and Vieira in the next week, they’ll be in for Eze straight away. They could lose to Utd and decide to spend big on him and a LW.
I really don't know if Woolwich are into Eze, it's obviously not a priority position for them.
There was a lot of noise from posters on here about how Eze will never come to Spurs, Woolwich want him, he's going to Woolwich etc.
Woolwich ownership isn't as prudent as Spurs, if a player is a priority for them, then they bid.
Honestly, I don't see that Woolwich will bid now, he'll either be at Spurs or Palace come the end of the month. £70m is a lot to bid for a player who isn't a guaranteed starter for a club.

Think you got that the wrong way round, mate -

No footballer playing in the Premier League is Average.

This idea that they are comes from fans being sad when they don't play well.

There are over 125,000 professional footballers registered across the world - perhaps 30,000 odd in England alone

About 500 senior players are registered to play in the prem.

To reach that level, you simply cannot be average.

You can look worse than others around you due to any number of factors.... wrong position, wrong team, wrong coach, etc.

But average? It's just a lazy narrative by folks who do not understand the game beyond caring about whether their teams win or lose.
You understand I'm labelling them average when compared to other premier league footballers right? Surely you're not thick enough to think I was comparing them to any tom dick and harry from the Sunday league or Monday kick about.
