See I thought this but then I watched Kudus show way more defensive diligence against PSG and in the other preseason games. Not sure it's the issue I feared especially in the light of the Paulinha.

Out of interest how many people have a job that means if they get lots of things wrong they get a bollocking at best or even the sack , most of us I assume .

Now after periods of shit performance at work , should we manage to do the job we are paid for ( in Levy’s case 3-6m) , how many of us would expect the people we have exasperated by shoddy performance to applaud us for getting something right.

The weakness in your argument is that Levy works for ENIC who own the club and not the fans. Therefore his financial performance is more likely exactly what they want and not winning trophies. In their eyes he is not getting it wrong.
 
Proper Spurs fans will anxiously hope the 2 big deals go through, and maybe a bit more.

One or two posters who purport to be Spurs fans will wait and hope that they are given ammunition for their ongoing sh!t.

Problem being, he’s also our only threat to score if we play this way and constantly tracking back means that he never gets a chance to do what he does best.

Unless he’s that rare breed like Son and Kane under Jose or Conte that take the one chance they get every game

I am a paying customer as are 60,000 fans , plus merchandise , plus all the subscriptions from Spurs fans globally to various tv channels . Without the TV revenue especially Levy would not be in the financial position he is . TV rights largely fund football, we are sadly in effect powerless shareholders to the whims of self interested scumbags in my view. We invest the money to grow the business and pay the debt , only difference is real shareholders can oust the board .

It is not the fault of the fans that Lewis will not hold him to account for the failure on the football side , for the same greedy reasons as Levy behaves as he does imho .

I used the analogy that I did to point out even if we sign all those players, I will not be apologising to Levy for getting something right having got so much wrong . Yet we know there will be apologise to Daniel calls , I’m just getting my fuck that out there early.
