I’m not saying that.

I’m saying that a trophy has not cast a magic spell and made everyone happy. There were a couple of happy weeks and then it’s like it never happened on here.

I’m saying that many of these people who are upset will always find something to be upset about, no matter what happens. The evidence of that is that people change their gripes over time, even as the things they once complained about are satisfied.
Well there's a number of things to be disgruntled about but nobody surely wants to win a trophy after 17 years of waiting and then just say oh well fair enough we're happy from this point onwards, the players must be good.

I doubt any other so called big 6 team would have fans that are all happy about that.

Nobody has said they’re happy to do nothing now.

Levy has come out and explicitly said we need to be competitive this season.

We upgraded our manager to aomeone who is more serious. Coaching staff also massively improved.

We’ve signed a 6 and a RW which were both high on the agenda. Seems like we’ll get a 10 which was another priority position and maybe even Savinho on top.

Only position people thought was a priority that we might not upgrade is backup LCB.

So I’m seeing plenty of reasons for fans to actually be happy and optimistic.

Well if we get all those signings there will probably be more positive comments on the forum and on social media, and less of a need to protest. I think we're all happy with Palhinha and Kudos, so far but want Eze and Salvinho signed too.

Nobody is complaining about that AFAIK.

Someone else said it well. People are complaining about their Christmas presents on Christmas Eve.

Links to exciting quality could not be more concrete. Let’s wait for Boxing Day before crying

It's been a long time since the club signed really good exciting attacking players in their prime. Long enough for supporters to think they might well not happen.

The last one apart from Kudos I remember is Van der Vaart.

Bale, Modric et al were punts on young players that worked out very well, but the club would never have signed them in their prime.

We had Kane and Son, the most lethal combination in premier league history. Who cares how we got them? That was 8 years of unbelievable attacking talent. Alli and Eriksen were also unbelievable for serveral years.

We might not sign peak attackers in their prime but they sure as hell have played for us.

In any case, we have more concrete links to exciting attacking talent now than at any point maybe ever. That seems to be more of a stress than an enjoyment for some.

Happy days!

Now let’s win this game
