It is also worth taking into account that he's spent a little over two seasons being converted into a defender. So obviously he's going to be a bit rusty when it comes to playing as a centre mid.

He wanted him, Brennan and Lucas.

Kudus is one we’ve been linked with since Ajax tbf but Frank clearly knew what he was getting and how to use him.

What’s impressed me the most about Frank and his staff is how confident every member of the squad is.

In the past, we’ve seen Jose get Kane and Son believing they are the best in the world. Conte’s favourites were always confident and Ange had an 11 he trusted who believed in themselves but everyone else, Gray included looked tentative at times.

Frank seems to have everyone in the the squad coming in thinking they have a big time role to play.

Yeah I know it’s early days but I’m liking what I have seen , will be good to see how we cope against city - can’t wait to see what he does with Kulu as well!
 
Today I learned that Archie was born in my neck of the woods:

We could've used him today playing more advanced in midfield. He might not have the positional sense yet defensively but in terms of going forward he would've helped us a lot.
 
Frank started Archie Gray in the middle of the park in the very first Premier League game. He should play him more. Some of the more experienced players appear to be significantly overrated or have some other sorts of issues. Frank probably thinks Archie is not strong enough for some challenges but he seems to have great technique and is positionally savvy. Sarr, for example, appears positionally lost at particular game moments. Archie appears to have great composure in offence. Doesn't rush, distributes the ball well, doesn't force things.

This kid is quite something. He has the ability to get praised and get his thread bumped when he's done the square root of fuck all and looked positionally lost when played in his 'natural' position.

Other players get criticised WHEN THEY SCORE and this kid gets praised for literally nothing, quite amazing.

It got bumped by a bot account. Check the Porro thread, it said he only got called up by the national team to inflate his value. Needs recalibrating.

Yup that account with its screenshots and engagement bait is either a bot or a wum

Did the same thing in the Romero thread too.

Interestingly swerved the Solomon thread though which would be the best place for what it’s doing. Maybe too obvious
