Transfers The Summer Transfer Edging Thread 2025

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Something doesn't add 🤔 up.....Sounds like Glasner is at odds with his employers over departures and is probably digging his heels in behind the scenes otherwise why would both sides bother getting around the table when all Parrish has to say is "he's not for sale."

He said very early in the window that his future is linked to that of Eze & Guehi........ Ominous from a CP fan point of view.

Well, he’s going to be very disappointed then.

Guehi’s contract expires next year and he won’t sign a new one. I fully expect us to move for him as it has Levy written all over it…

And Eze’s contract expires in 2 years….but he will be signing for us soon…

Don't really buy the "Palace need a replacement" story

They must've known for ages he's likely to go

I think had they got into Europa, he would likely have stayed. Hence, the wait until now for all this to happen.

Again, any transfer news you hear about them now is a week old. They would have been working on something already and may even already have someone lined up. We are not privvy to real-time info here - not even close.

With this much noise around, it all feels very close to me

and/or Parish is over-negotiating on both the sale of Eze and signing of El-Kanouss

United spent £70-odd million on Hojland and basically told him to find a new club.

It’s ruthless but we need to do more of that.

Bryan Gil is still here, just a year left on his deal having cost us £20m+ and Erik Lamela. It’s not smart business sense. We have too many like this here now, let alone over the last few years.

On what planet does it make sense to buy loads of £20m to £30m players instead of going for the £60m one? It’s the same money and wages. 😅

I doubt Manchester City will let Savinho leave prior to the game against them this weekend, but that doesn't mean it won't happen. In fact, all the signs seem to suggest he is more nailed on than Eze. Training on his own, his manager's comments, his agents flying to London. There seems to be more pointers for him, right? Still, who knows lol

Plus, Ederson, who Guardiola said was apparently injured in the same sentence, is sorting a move to Turkey
