New contract incoming, who could have foreseen this.....

Assume this is where the Kubo links have come from with Savinho looking dead

I call (sort of) bull shit.
If Salivaninho says he absolutely wants to leave, they will move him on.
But with us, he is more likely to sign a 24 year contract extension.

Why all the love for Savinho?

Very little impact at City and not exactly a fire starter anywhere before that.

We’ve got several players already in the squad that objectively outperformed him last season - and who have their whole careers. Including one who was injured for the vast majority of it.

Absolutely spunking cash away that would be better served elsewhere.
Ah, nice coping mechanism bro, I like it.

OT 16 AT 5 CT 1 = 22 man CL squad (which seems to be our max)

Solanke/Richarlison
Savinho
/Kudus/Johnson/Odobert
Kulusevski
/Eze
Sarr/Palhinha/Bentancur/Bergvall
Porro
/Udogie/Spence
Romero/Danso/van de Ven/Dragusin
Vicario
/Kinsky/Austin

Can't fit any of Ben Davies, Luka Vuskovic, Takai Kota, Archie Gray, James Maddison or Mathys Tel in : (
Would Deki be in the squad? I thought he was going to miss a fair chunk of the group games and we can send in a new list if we get to the knock outs.

It's not really that much of an update.

I'm sure if we paid up their stance would quickly change.

The problem at the moment is these journalists are creating stories out of nothing...there are no real updates until something significant happens.

He absolutely set La Liga ablaze, was the star of a surprise Girona team who were the talk of the league in 23-24. 20 G/A. He’s also only 21 and those were his only two full seasons in Europe

Savinho got 11 PL assists last year, who “objectively” outperformed him? He had a better season than Kudus did and look how good Kudus has shown himself to be already.
If he signs, and betters last season I’ll donate to a charity of your choice.

Kudus had a ‘poor season’ by his own standards last year, absolutely. Yet, still just a couple of goal involvements behind the amazing Savinho.
Odobert played about half the games and still managed more goals.

This ain’t a bandwagon you’ll get me on, but fair play, we’re all entitled to an opinion.

If he signs, needless to say I hope he smashes it.
