I said to get him but not as a first team option. He is worth buying as his potential truly is insane. Totally a Tottenham player, and the closest thing to Matt Le Tissier that Saints fans have seen. Many saying he is better at same age.

Southampton need to sell him and he wants to leave. I would buy him but still focus on a first choice number 10 who is older and ready to go.

It can be true that the way Palace played their cards was cuntish.
It can be true that fat-fucking-greek-cunt screwed us over too.

But it still does not excuse the wider picture.
If one deal falls through, you have to have ALTERNATIVES LINED UP for fuck sake.
You cannot sit behind one negotiations table and have no plan B to turn to when you operate in limited time window.

We are a football club and business venture with half a billion of yearly revenue. You don't run this thing like a fucking lemonade stand.
 
I wouldn't even be mad if we signed El Khannous. I think he's a decent player, and if he ended up at Palace he'd be a player the top teams would want in 3-4 years time, similar to Eze and Olise.

My biggest gripe is that our egotistical owner has to win a transfer negotiation, and costs us over and over again. If I'm honest I'm more annoyed Eze has gone to Woolwich than the fact we missed out on him. If he'd stayed at Palace or gone to City I'd have been upset we didn't get him, but accepted it.. The fact they've wrapped it up in 7 hours, from under our noses, our biggest rivals. That's the killer.

Dibling will be a 10. He only played wide to accommodate and for some protection.

What did Palace do wrong? They don’t care if they take money from us or Woolwich. They kept the Woolwich talks confidential, so odds on all the leaking was from us.

He's literally pure potential .. that's it. No returns yet at all. He's one for the future. 2 goals and 0 assists in 33 prem games last season.

Got incredibly far to go and we'll end up just loaning him out in a season or two .. after those loans he may well be great but we need a starting 10 to replace Maddison today.
