I wanted to sign Eze definitely but he's not a top top player he is 27 and has barely played for England.
I'm disappointed and angry at ENIC/levy.
I want us to sign players to take us forward now and it's clear that we will scrapping the barrel again.
After MGW if we wanted Eze then we should have gone for him then and set a deadline to allow time to move on to the next target

To be honest though ......as much as I get disappointed when we're not linked with any new transfers, I'm pretty sure I get 100 percent more pissed off when we ARE linked with players and then we don't end up signing them .
If one week ago there were no Eze rumours and constant updates on how the transfer was progressing, I'd be a lot less pissed off than I am now.
I think ignorance is bliss when it comes to THFC transfers as 99 percent of everyone were linked with never happens.
We'll end up with some cunt on loan who some other team can't be fucked with.
Maybe we'll be able to compete with Fulham for a top signing.

Well, again, the injury-response angle is perception. Reports woolwich had agreed to a deal preferred by both Palace and Eze 10 days before Havertz was injured certainly makes it look like they were more responsive - but they were clearly ideally positioned to do so.
Anyway, per your 2nd paragraph we're generally aligned.
And, again, its not a defence of Levy or the club. Getting played like we did over Eze is worse than missing Grealish because we were cheap.
