They are like new signings

We overpay because he has made himself /us so horrendous to deal with.

So we overpay for players that other clubs are desperate to sell because of PSR, and in that situation, which is the best time for haggling, Levy, who ONLY likes a deal and ONLY likes to haggle and will NEVER pay the asking price, doesn't haggle because he is horrendous to deal with.

Make this make sense for me - in real-world terms, without the extreme Spurs fan bias.

How fucking hard is it to say “£65m yes or no?”.

If it’s “yes”. Great. If it’s “no”. MOVE ONTO THE FUCKING NEXT ONE.

So fucking sick of the mystery surrounding behind the scenes management of a club. Full to the brim of numpties who have fallen upwards and would get eaten alive in the real world, in a real job.
Exactly. Work out how high you're willing to go and go with a take it of leave it offer and move on. 9 days left wtf are they doing?

Havertz knee injury is only 6 - 12 weeks.

They didn’t move for Eze because of the injury, it was always the plan. At this stage I honestly believe they set the hijack up on purpose as a power play. They saw an opportunity to humiliate their rivals and thought why not.

I'd actually prefer to see Solomon come off the bench ahead of Tel or Odobert. He's older than them with less potential but he's a better player right now.

Crazy that I'm even talking about this though! Arguably 3 championship level players and we'll probably have to start one of them most weeks unless we sign Savinho! Far from ideal keeping Solomon but if we aren't signing anyone he might actually be better than the 2 French under 21s....

Such a dick tweet though. He's just putting that out for interactions. They've been training with the first team all season since coming back from injury.

It was definitely tongue in cheek

But the club are earning all the jokes.

9 days to go in the window, only managed to sign 2 senior players and sell 1, our captain, talisman and last legitimate star.

Levy, Vinai, and Lange are about to execute the worst window since our last European Cup Final.

They'll defend anything at this point

In love with being contrarians

No one is defending Levy/ENIC, but neither are some frothing at the mouth like rabid dogs.

I think all are in agreement tbat we need to see quality signings and that right now we are short of where we should be.

And very few will be content if we end up with just a talented but young Dibling, and some other youngster.

The Eze effort was the poorest judgement I have seen in a long time.

The clearest thing is whoever is in charge of it all, there’s absolutely zero plan.

I have no doubt in my mind that there’s no process at the start of the summer where we have identified a key list of targets who are first choice and who we will pursue, and then some secondary options in case those first options aren’t available.

You can almost hear the conversations between our transfer team being more akin to “oh, that didn’t work, who else could we look at?” And then we stumble about hoping to luck ourselves into an opportunity.

Zero plan, all left till the last minute, and we only look to shop when the proper quality is gone. We need to clear out the entire team relating to transfers including Levy. We are legitimately the worst team in the league for it.

That is the biggest issue of all in my eyes!

Things can go tits up at times. Even some people could screw us over.

But that's what this business is like. You have to be ready and have a plan in place what happens if someone screws you over.
Have to have thought through plan A and plan B and plan C.

We?
We just scramble around and messing up one deal at the time without slightest of idea what to do next.
Just making shit up as we go.

2 prem alternatives to Eze and Savinho that are arguably just as good and might even be cheaper are Paqueta and Ndiaye.

Ndiaye is probably better than Savinho in this moment in time. Certainly looked better in the prem last season. Eze had a way better season than Paqueta last year but if you go back 2 summers, City nearly signed Paqueta for over 80m while Eze wasn't even the main man at Palace. Both are 27 so Paqueta has already shown he can be as good as Eze and no reason he can't go one better.

They'd be the 2 I want anyway but not seeing any links to either which is annoying.

We should sign Kenan Yildiz. He's a tricky number 10 who can also play left wing. he's only 20 but he's played loads for Juventus and is an established Turkey international with over 20 caps. He's been one of Europe's best known youngsters for a few years.
A paritici masterstroke phone call and 60 million Euros should do it. he's a square peg in a square hole. he's the right age to mature at the same time as the rest of the team we're building too.
:porrohands:it just makes sense.

And boy has it worked. The media are lapping it up. We are a laughing stock on social media. Spurs podcasts I listen to are all firmly 'Levy out'. Levy's name is in the mud. The atmosphere in the next home game could be awkward for him.

We have been dominated by our fiercest rivals and it seems like it's Levy at fault.

I've never known a more humiliating transfer.

I think WHU fans might burn the place down if we sign another of their best players
