We overpay because he has made himself /us so horrendous to deal with.
Ake normal position is injured. Its the only reason city are open to sellingSavinho + Nathan Ake double deal? Ake can play centre-back as well as left-back. PL proven, experienced and qualifies as homegrown.
Exactly. Work out how high you're willing to go and go with a take it of leave it offer and move on. 9 days left wtf are they doing? How fucking hard is it to say “£65m yes or no?”.
If it’s “yes”. Great. If it’s “no”. MOVE ONTO THE FUCKING NEXT ONE.
So fucking sick of the mystery surrounding behind the scenes management of a club. Full to the brim of numpties who have fallen upwards and would get eaten alive in the real world, in a real job.
This is a great listen. They said we haven't signed a player in his prime since Klinsmann.

Such a dick tweet though. He's just putting that out for interactions. They've been training with the first team all season since coming back from injury.

The clearest thing is whoever is in charge of it all, there’s absolutely zero plan.
I have no doubt in my mind that there’s no process at the start of the summer where we have identified a key list of targets who are first choice and who we will pursue, and then some secondary options in case those first options aren’t available.
You can almost hear the conversations between our transfer team being more akin to “oh, that didn’t work, who else could we look at?” And then we stumble about hoping to luck ourselves into an opportunity.
Zero plan, all left till the last minute, and we only look to shop when the proper quality is gone. We need to clear out the entire team relating to transfers including Levy. We are legitimately the worst team in the league for it.
You still calm about the window Bill?"Contrarians" eh?
Not a label that could ever be applied to you of course.

it just makes sense.Havertz knee injury is only 6 - 12 weeks.
They didn’t move for Eze because of the injury, it was always the plan. At this stage I honestly believe they set the hijack up on purpose as a power play. They saw an opportunity to humiliate their rivals and thought why not.
2 prem alternatives to Eze and Savinho that are arguably just as good and might even be cheaper are Paqueta and Ndiaye.
Ndiaye is probably better than Savinho in this moment in time. Certainly looked better in the prem last season. Eze had a way better season than Paqueta last year but if you go back 2 summers, City nearly signed Paqueta for over 80m while Eze wasn't even the main man at Palace. Both are 27 so Paqueta has already shown he can be as good as Eze and no reason he can't go one better.
They'd be the 2 I want anyway but not seeing any links to either which is annoying.
