Player Pape Sarr

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I think what's been forgotten with him is that he's a youngster. He's just coming up to his 23rd birthday next month. Last season he suffered a loss of form. Understandable with the way we were playing, and is typical for EVERY young player at some point.
He's now at an age where he should be starting to get more consistent and, as his confidence grows, we'll see far more of that natural ability come through, with him imposing himself on games more and more.

In my opinion of course.
Borrowing a smidge from wilde at 22 you deserve the team you’re with …. I don’t think you get any more ‘potential passes’

I hoped last season was the one because 21 is plenty old enough to know how good you are not how good you might be

But it was a farrago freak show last season where everyone kinda gets a pass

High hopes this is the year he arrives

It looks like he's really developed this season not just physically either. Mentally he seems to have matured and you could argue he's the first name on the team sheet when fit. He does have Kante vibes about him but I think he has more end product. If he continues on current trajectory it will be hard to keep hold of him.

Body type is even similar. Obviously Pape much taller but both have that wiry strength and explosiveness but don’t carry much weight so can run forever. Also both technically better than given credit for.
Remember when some posters were wanting him to bulk up? Sarr doesn’t get bullied by anyone, plenty of other players to hit the weights before him.
