It's not even that. Of course Scum have bought better than us - they usually do because they spend. And are in a title-winning position.

But it's the idea that we should let gooners stomp on us when we've just won a major trophy and they have fuck all. Like how pathetic do you have to be to allow that?

We can't control what our owners do. We can control whether we let trophy-dodging gooner filth get to us. Jesus christ - can't believe these people are writing this on a Spurs forum.

Yep and I did try to caveat it

the days of a player staying with a club through loyalty, sacrificing a transfer bonus/signing on fee (which was a big thing in the day, maybe the equivalent of a years wages) and finally being granted a testimonial to generate some financial remuneration, it was applicable

I appreciate it’s just hung around as football parlance but it feels misplaced these days

Just like when we waited for Palace to find a replacement, even letting our target play for Palace while they did so. (We literally bent over for them)

All the wise sages in here said that that was perfectly normal and we should be patient.

And then Woolwich grab him from right underneath our noses and managed to wrap up the deal within three days.....even making sure that Eze didn't play for Palace in Europe.

That's about as weak and soft as a deal can get.


And now fucking wait for City to get a replacement .....it's total bullshit
