So are the usual suspects going to defend this sham of a transfer window when it finally slams shut?
We really are on the brink of one of the most disgusting windows I've ever experienced.
Not only does it look like we are failing to replace Son who we knew was leaving for months, we are also failing to replace our main number 10 who is out for over a year.
On top of that, we are being mugged off by not just Woolwich twice, but Chelsea too. Both sets of fans basking in the fact that players are rejecting us in favour of them.
It's just fucking embarassing.
The ironic thing is on the pitch things have looked great for us the first two games, but so it has for the two scummy London clubs too.
The difference is, they likely won't run out of steam when winter hits, because they have invested millions in bringing in top class talent to fill their squad.
It's just two games, and we all know, we've seen it before, the team will run out of energy really soon, and our lack of talent and depth will be horribly exposed. Yet again it will get toxic against Levy for failing to properly back the manager. Frank will be a fuckign miracle worker to get this team top 4. Problem is, he isn't a miracle worker, he's just a really good manager, and he'll probably fall short because the club have fucked him over.
I really would love to be a fly in the wall on the post transfer window meetings. In any proper football club, the CEO would probably go fucking mental and sack the entire recruitment team for this window we are seeing. Problem for us is Levy is the main problem, so he will probably listen to all the excuses, make a few excuses himself, and they'll say "oh well, better luck next time". Losers, all of them.
Any proper top club would say sorry it's just not good enough.
